RETRO REBELS – MYSTERY DAY 2
A TWIST IN TIME
After a lot of coaxing and bargaining, the Rebels finally convinced the young Commando to travel back to 2021 with them and see for himself what RPF could have been. They walk over to the glowing portal, ready to be warped back into the future.
WOOSH!!
F6Sixer lands on his feet as the portal closes, but something seems to be incredibly wrong. Instead of the white rug of his room that he was standing on just this morning, he found himself on…ice? He lifts his head up and sees the same look of confusion on the Rebels’ faces as they look around their cold icy surroundings. As he looks around with them, he notices mammoths in the distance, miles and miles of ice and snow, and no Elexonck in sight.
“Elex!” He shouts, as if his fellow leader somehow just got lost within the small crowd of Rebels. He hears someone shout his name back, but the voice seems to come from the sky. “Elex, where are you?”
“Not in 2021, that’s for sure.” Elexonck’s voice replies back. A loud, terrifying roar follows, giving F6Sixer the answer he needed.
The Rebels conclude that they have been separated into two groups–one of which travelled to the Ice Age while the other went way back into the Mesozoic Era, explaining the dinosaur roars. Thankfully, the space-time anomaly somehow allowed them to communicate despite the different timelines.
Just then, the hooded figure appeared once again; hands clapping slowly in amusement. “Did you really think you can revive RPF just by re-motivating your precious founder? I can’t be stopped that easily. If you still want to continue with your little mission, then wait for several million years until you’re back in 2007!” With a maniacal laugh, the hooded figure disappears into another portal, leaving the Rebels stuck with a distorted flow of time and more desperate than ever.
OPERATION: ROCK THE PARTY [EU/US]
Today, we rocked our favourite instruments and headed over to Zipline – CP Rewritten as we prepared to shake the entire server. Safe to say that our lyrical tactics and fast formations had us rocking out and bopping our heads along. Rock on Rebels!

OPERATION: OPPOSITE GENRE PARTY [AUSIA]
Following up with our second event of Rebel Retro weekend, we jammed out at Zipline – CPRewritten wearing an outfit that fits any specific music genre! From popstars all the way to rockstars, there were certainly a lot of stars touring the island! Huge thanks to those that attended and outstanding work on reaching the halfway point for the Time Traveler role!

OPERATION: MESOZOIC MAZE [US]
For today’s U.S. event, we logged onto Ascent – CPRewritten for our first special event for the Retro Rebels weekend! Wearing our primeval outfits, we ventured throughout uniquely themed igloos, searching for prehistoric items (and penguins) for a fun Scavenger Hunt, in hopes of winning the worthy Archaeologist role. Good job on getting one step closer to earning the Time Traveler role and congrats to the winner!

BLAST TO THE PAST
Led by F6Sixer and his fellow rebel commander Elexonck, the Rebels took a trip back in time to search the island for any clues as to where the mysterious hooded figure could be. As they were waddling far and wide, they came across a younger looking Commando717, who had just walked into the Town. Finally! – now they could convince him to start the RPF. Elexonck jumped at the chance to speak to Commando, and rushed over to him as he was walking into the Gift Shop. After a long explanation after what had happened, she finally thought she had convinced him to start the RPF – but Commando was not interested. “Someone in a black hoodie came by earlier and told me that it was not worth it, who would want to be in a silly little group anyways?” Commando refused to listen – so the rebels knew they had to show him what the future held in a world without RPF.
They convinced him to join them in their journey through time to show Commando that the Rebel Penguin Federation was worth saving – and that they would stop the evil figure from continuing their mission!

Troop Interviews
This week marks the seventieth official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Brenatto, Yvng, Mars, Cracked, and Guinz) ask two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked give us a better understanding of each soldier and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of soldiers here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it will be difficult to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!
