Art Column – 8/19/25

Welcome to the 65th edition of the Art Column, where our reporters (currently Moonlemur, Ella, Artistic23, Tulip, Miggy, and Elsa) see and critique pieces in the #art channel and choose which to feature from members of the Rebel Penguin Federation.

By definition, “art” can be best described as…

“…the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.”

Due to this, the Art Column’s purpose is to promote all types of art. This includes whether it’s digital or physical, something you can hear or something you can see, and even if it’s RPF related or not. However, please do also keep in mind, due to so many members in our group, not everyone will get recognized in each edition. Nonetheless, we hope you enjoy our monthly gallery and keep creating!

Theme Art

In this segment, we will be displaying art from the topic released in the last issue! We aim to challenge our artists with these themes and see what they come up with. If you would like to participate, post your art in the #art channel with the hashtag we include at the end of this post for a chance to be featured!

This month’s theme was tropical!

“Tropical Rebirth” drawn by Miggy, RPF Lieutenant General

“I made this with the idea that beautiful things can come from uncomfortable places.”

“Parrotfish” painted by Art. RPF General

“My first time painting one of my favorite fish”

“Tropical Reef” made by Athena, RPF Colonel

“Catching Waves!” painted by TyFry, RPF Captain

“When I was first coming up with the idea for this painting I had no idea what direction I wanted to go I knew I wanted like a smoothie smasher theme so I added the bar for it and then I asked Meg a lot for her opinion on it, she really helped with a lot of ideas in this painting, all these penguins in the painting are my friends in rpf and I wanted to add a lot more to it but there’s only so much space you can add. Eventually I want to create a big”

Club Penguin & RPF Art

As the Rebel Penguin Federation, it’s only fair that we include art related to us and Club Penguin in our gallery! Here is a selection of Club Penguin & RPF art made by our talented troops!

“A Day at the Docks” made by Rae, RPF Colonel

Rae said this piece is a self portrait and she enjoyed adding the details in the water.

Made by EssKae, RPF Lieutenant

“I got the idea of doing this when it was one of the final days of the RPF Olympics. (I think) Angie kept trying to photo bomb us (Nayru) so that’s what sparked the idea! I wanted everyone to feel included so within the background I snuck in everyone’s names who participated in the Olympics!”

“Lock In For Legends!!” drawn by Kurtspages, RPF Major

“with the legends cup finale on the way, what more could be done than offer some extra encouragement to our troops?”

“Biblical Club Penguin” drawn by Its_cold, RPF Corporal

Other Art

Painted by Lovelygirly, RPF Corporal

Captured by Bubblez, RPF Veteran

“This is a beautiful picture but don’t be fooled by the birds. They are called black drongos and they are aggressive but beautiful”

Thank you to all of our incredible troops for sharing your art with us. Because of you, we’re able to continue this column and share your talent with everyone!

Next month’s Theme of the Month will be… Back To School! It’s that time of year again! Time to hit the books and study hard. Make sure to put #rpfacBackToSchool in the caption when you post your work if you would like to be featured in the next edition! Don’t forget art includes drawings, music, photography, paintings, and more!

All art presented was given permission by their creators to be included in this post. Never steal or take credit for another person’s work!

Thanks for reading, until next time!
