Autumn Tundra Clash – The Conclusion

During the month of September, the Rebel Penguin Federation was involved in the Autumn Tundra Clash – a war against the Secret Service. The Federation declared war on the agents after suspicions that they were going to declare war on us but lock us in a battle against them and their allies, possibly knowing they could not take us on themselves. The RPF is no stranger to many members of SS and to the army itself, with a history dating back years to some of them. You can read the full declaration post here, as it highlights the reasons between the declaration.

The war started out very strong – and let’s be honest – it stayed that way. We kicked things off with the first (of eight…) attempts from Secret Service to invade Alaska where we reached a max of 33 and successfully defended our land. This was followed by our first invasion, invasion of Toboggan where we reached an impressive max of 42. We were on way to get 4 wins on just day 1 when SS cancelled their invasion of Mittens at the very last minute. These events were subtle foreshadowing of the rest of the war, as RPF continued to dominate.

Defense of Alaska

The momentum kept going, the energy was unmatched. Secret Service tried several strategies such as not showing up to the battles, showing up with the minimum number of people required to keep the event going for the full 30 minutes, or scheduling invasions for very obscure hours.

Scheduling at obscure hours (we still showed up)

They went to great lengths to try and wear us down, and tire us out according to them. All that to no avail. The rebels never lost motivation and kept fighting the good fight.

A total of 44 battles occurred, and RPF won every single one.

The war had to be paused in the first few days of October due to a war-style tournament that was happening in CPA that rendered the map – and subsequently the war – frozen. In the mean time we took a well deserved break and prepared ourselves for when the war would be resumed. Secret Service however had other plans.

On October 24th, just a few days before the war was set to resume, Secret Service surrendered the war.

SS Surrendering the war

Due to that, a force treaty was imposed and RPF emerged victorious from the war.

Throughout the war we saw many milestones. We maintained strong sizes despite sometimes having 4 events a day, we scored 1st in the Top Ten two weeks in a row (and maintaining a close 2nd the rest of the weeks), as well as being 1st on the map. SS will try to claim a fake win due to them not showing up for a number of their invasions, failing to remember that RPF still dominated every single battle they did turn up to.

RPF showed once again, the true strength, resilience, dedication and community that we have as an army. We showed that we still refuse to run away, and we stand against those that disrespect us. We showed that contrary to our opponent in this war, we show up and we back up our words.

To the community of RPF, we could not be more grateful for all your support. You are the backbone of the community, you are why we as an army exist and why we keep going. The leadership is so appreciative of everyone that’s shown up and supported us during this lengthy war. We truly could not have done it without you.

Thank you. And as always Fight The Good Fight.
