On October 3rd, 2020, The Rebel Penguin Federation and the Help Force, two superpowers in the AUSIA scene, took to Alaska – CPArmies for an intense practice battle. Judged by CP Army Hub judges AlphaLaura, FatChicken88, and Mythic, both armies entered this battle with a good chance. If this battle seems familiar, it’s because it is. Both of these armies went at it in another AUSIA practice battle on August 30th. With few changes to both armies since the last practice battle, this battle could have really gone either way.
ROOM 1 – ICEBERG
Both armies entered the Iceberg in a flash; with the Rebel Penguin Federation taking an X form, while the Help Force formed up into a circle. The Rebels pulled no punches, coming out swinging with tactics like “AYAN SENDS HIS REGARDS” and “THIS IS WHAT A REAL AUSIA DIV LOOKS LIKE.” The Help Force didn’t take the jabs laying down, firing back with tactics like “FEDERATION? MORE LIKE ABOMINATION” and “YOUR LOGO IS THE MOST CONFUSING THING EVER.” At the four minute mark, the Rebels bombed out of their X form with a “HELPLESS” x5 bomb. Taking advantage of the break in the Rebels’ tactics, the Help Force bombed shortly after, with a “BLUE” x9 bomb being their bomb of choice. The Rebels took an upside-down V, which eventually formed into an A, while the Help Force formed up into an upside-down T form. Although the forms changed, the Rebels’ speed didn’t. The Rebels kept up tactics like “AIR FORCE > HELP FORCE” and “BRING OUT THE BROOMS, WE’RE HERE TO SWEEP,” while the Help Force responded with “EEW THIS IS THE TERREBEL PENGUIN FEDERATION.” As the room ended, the Rebels had 52 in the Iceberg, while the Helpers had 41 in the iceberg. Due to this miniscule difference in sizes, the judges declared the Iceberg a tie.
ROOM 2 – INSIDE MINE
A curveball for both armies, the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Help Force entered Inside Mine quickly as well. The Rebels entered with an E9 bomb, while the Helpers entered with a “recycling is good for the planet, not tacs xx” bomb. The Rebel Penguin Federation took an upside-down T form, while the Help Force threw a curveball of their own, trying their signature C form. After multiple jabs from the Federation about their form, the Help Force bombed out of their C into a tried-and-true circle form. The Rebels, who held their upside-down T form through the Helpers’ bomb, took the opportunity to turn the Help Force’s tactic against them, with a “recycle for the planet, not forms” tactic. The Rebel Penguin Federation then took the opportunity to bomb out of their form. The Rebels first bombed with an E9 bomb, then they went to an O bomb. The O bomb morphed into an N rake, finally ending the dynamic tactic with an “AUSIA IS MANAGER” bomb. The Rebels came into a plus form, keeping up with their crisp tactics. The Helpers eventually got out of their form as well, with a J bomb at the 17 minute mark. The Help Force formed up into a V formation. To close out the room, both armies traded quick word and emote tactics. Due to an overwhelming size difference that favored the Rebels, the judges declared Room 2 a win for the Rebel Penguin Federation.
ROOM 3 – STADIUM
Both armies entered the stadium quickly with large bombs. The Rebel Penguin Federation entered with a “DOUBLETIE???” x4 bomb (a callback to the last battle between these two armies) while the Help Force entered with a “KABOOMBABY” x4 bomb. Both armies went to encircle the stadium. Because both armies entered into the same form, one army had to make the choice to bomb out of their form. The army that bombed first would end up being the Rebels. They bombed out of their circle form with a “WOULD YOU LIKE A NEW FORM?” bomb, which eventually transformed to a ? rake. The RPF took their signature four lines formation, while the Help Force took the opportunity to reform their circle. Both armies kept the tactics coming, with the Rebels poking fun at the Help Force’s form with tactics like “NICE FORM, WHAT IS IT” and “BIGGER TACTICS FOR THE BIGGER FEDERATION,” while the Helpers fired back with tactics like “CLEARLY NEED GOGGLES CAUSE WE DONT SEE THAT.” As the room ended, the Help Force had 39 penguins and the Rebel Penguin Federation had 56 in the stadium. Due to the size difference, room 3 went to the Rebel Penguin Federation.
RESULTS
Congratulations to the Rebel Penguin Federation for winning this practice battle! Congratulations to the Help Force for coming out and keeping the practice battle close, and a major thank you goes out to the judges who volunteered to judge an AUSIA practice battle!
