Strut, strut, strut, and pose! In this edition of Behind the Signature Item, we interviewed 3 of our rebels to see how they like to switch up their uniforms to show individuality and creativity. A uniform signifies unity but theres always the opporunity to showcase each rebel’s personality.
In this edition we reached out to our Colonel Iaruu, Brigadier General Yarn, and Officer Cadet Schlapster. If you want to take part in an upcoming Behind the Signature Item, reach out to an Officer or HCOM

Yarn

First up is our Brigadier General Yarn with their signature Blue Striped Scarf. When asked about why they chose this item they told me they are a collector and tried to collect all the scarves on the original Club Penguin game. The Blue Striped Scarf was the last one they were able to obtain after 4 years of collecting! Yarn told me “Now that it’s so much easier to obtain these items in CPPS’s, I always make sure to add this one first as homage to my years long scarf hunt.”. They also love how cute and cosy it looks.
Schlapster

Next up is our Officer Cadet Schlapster. Her chosen signature item is the Sunray head item, which replaces the Puffle Bandana. Schlapster chose this item as it reminds her of her own hair, minus the bangs, and also “also just makes any penguin look cuter “. She also likes to layer pink items with the hair which match beautifully, and especially with the Club Penguin Journey layering feature, she is able to create many adorable looks.
Iaruu

Last but not least is our Major General Iaruu, whose signature item is the Golden Fairy Wings. She chose this item for 2 reasons. Firstly she loves fairies, and secondly she told me “in 2020 I was in a CPPS community and one of my friends used to wear it. I never saw them again but the wings always bring back cherished memories”. Seeing different people’s nostalgia manifest through their outfits is always interesting to see as a BSTI reporter.
Thank you so much for checking out this edition of Behind the Signature Item! If you would like to be featured in the next issue, you can always DM an Officer or a member of HCOM.
