Greetings Rebels! With the destruction of the PSA in Mission 11: Veggie Villain, the Elite Penguin Force (EPF) has finally opened its doors on the island to thwart yet another evil plan from Herbert P. Bear on Club Penguin Journey! This post will serve as a guide to this mission.
If you are unsure how to access the PSA Headquarters, click here!
Note: To be able to start this mission, you need to have completed all the previous PSA missions. Click here for the mission guides!
ATTENTION: This post contains spoilers.
When you log on and have completed all the PSA mission, head over to the PSA Headquarters to be greeted by Dot.
She will introduce herself, talk about how the EPF has been watching you for a while and invite you to join the organization.
If you accept, you will receive the EPF Clearance Badge.
To access the EPF Command Room, click on the closet to the right.
Once inside, click on Gary to be briefed about the mission.
Gary explains that the island is currently floating in the air due to repairs being done to the windows in the underground pool (because why not…). However, the propellors around the island have been hijacked and they suspect Herbert to be behind it. The propellors are coordinated to take the island to the Equator, except that they are powered way beyond their stress limit, causing the island to go straight into the ocean! Therefore, your mission is to infiltrate Herbert’s lair and disable his computer in order for Gary to get back control of the flight system.
Once you accept the mission, you will be given the Infrared Tracker that will come in handy later on.
When the dialogue ends, go up to stairs to travel to the base of the Toughest Mountain to begin.
When you arrive at the Supply Camp, you will notice there is a security camera and a fence preventing you from following the paw tracks. The security camera will send you back to the beginning of the room if it spots you.
Throw a snowball at the security camera to disable it.
Then, to make it past the netted fence, click on your spy phone and click three times on the red button to get the scissors to cut through the fence. Then, follow the paw prints through the cave into the next room.
When you get to the Ice Cavern, there are Herbots patrolling the area along with a security camera. Again, disable the camera with a snowball, make your way through the cavern while avoiding the bots and follow the paw prints to the next room.
At the Base Camp, first disable the two cameras.
Then, hover your mouse over the lantern to remove its lid and start throwing snowballs to fill it up.
After that, click on the lantern to put out the large fire blocking the path. Once the fire is gone, cross the pile of logs into the next room.
In the Mountain, disable the two security cameras and make your way through the path and step on the red buttons to turn them green. Be careful of the Herbots!
Once you’ve pressed all the buttons, it will lower the panel. Cross the wood plank to make it to the next room.
Disable the camera in the Ice Cave and proceed through the icy path.
Once in the Maze room, equip the Infrared Tracker given earlier to see the hidden lasers and make your way through the maze while avoiding the laser beams.
Don’t forget to pick up the Expedition Key on your way to be able to access Herbert’s base!
Once you’re inside of Herbert’s lair, it will trigger a monologue about how we penguins don’t see what’s coming and that once the island makes it directly to the Equator, we’ll be literally toast. After that, you will receive instructions from Gary to disable Herbert’s main computer by using objects around the room.
The items to gather are: the spy phone, the magnet, and the spring (boxed in red). Make sure to be close to them to be able to pick them up. Move around the room as subtly as possible by hiding in shadow spots (boxed in green), and make sure to avoid walking over any objects that makes noise (boxed in yellow) that could attract Herbert’s attention.
Once you find all the objects, they will merge together to make a Hardware Destroyer. Get close to Herbert and click on the gadget on the bottom right corner to destroy his computer.
The room will then shake and cause snow to fall onto Herbert, triggering a dialogue with him expressing his shock and bantering with him about his defeat.
Once you’re finished, head to the exit on the right to jetpack out of there and back to the island.
Back to the EPF Command Room, click on Gary to talk to him about the end of your mission. He will congratulate you on your successful mission and give you a couple of rewards.
Afterwards, the Director will arrive to give their congratulations and deliver the news that the PSA will resume full operation soon due to the retrieval of the spy phone.
They will also give you the Operation Mayday Medal as a final reward.
