CLUB PENGUIN JOURNEY: MEDIEVAL PARTY 2024 GUIDE

Hear ye, hear ye, Rebels! Club Penguin Journey has outdone themselves yet again with another party, this time Medieval themed! CPJ has called this the biggest, most detailed party there has ever been, and boy were they right! Between the 20 quests, the Knight’s path, magical items to collect, the Infinity Tower, Ye Knights quests in the dungeons, free items and more, there are SO many aspects of this party to uncover, and the Rebel Penguin Federation is here to help! Grab your swords and armor and brace yourself, this will be a long ride. But we are happy to introduce CPJ Medieval Party 2024 guide!

Introduction

The party begins with Gary himself explaining how the party has come to be!

Gary also challenges you to begin the journey of defeating beasts and completing all the quests that come along with the party!

You’ll also notice on your screen that three symbols have appeared at the top of your screen. This includes a scroll, where you’ll find a guide to the magical items, the map of the knight’s path, and the rest of the quests for the party. We will get into each of these a bit more later, but for now, you can see where they are located on your screen in the top right corner!

Infinity Tower

The first aspect in the CPJ Medieval Party 2024 we will go over is the brand new Infinity Tower, and how to conquer it! This tower has infinite levels, with most levels bringing an exciting challenge! You can earn coins, as well as skill points for the knight’s path items that we’ll discuss later on.

To get to the Infinity Tower, you’ll head to the Snow Forts, and walk towards the tower at the top.

You’ll be presented with the main menu, which will look like this:

You can click the question mark in the top right for instructions, which explains how to play, how your progress is saved, and the various room types.

The Maze Rooms

Like the instructions state, you’ll have to navigate through these rooms, clearing the barriers, avoiding the trap doors, which can hinder your progress, and/or collecting the keys that spawn in the rooms.

Here is a picture of what the keys look like, when they spawn in the maze.

The Battle Rooms

These rooms are full of elemental enemies, and you must avoid them while trying to defeat them. To defeat them, step on the mat of the element that would defeat them and throw snowballs at them (fire defeats the snow enemy, snow defeats the water enemy, and water defeats the fire enemy). Be careful, though, they fight back by throwing their elements at you!

The Trivia Rooms

These rooms are very straight forward, answer the questions correctly and progress to the next room.

There are 86 different trivia questions, which may seem daunting, however we are here to help with all of the answers to every trivia question! It’s important to note that the questions are random, and will not follow this order. We have simply numbered it for convenience!

The Break Rooms

Like the instructions said, these rooms are simply a way you can easily leave without losing your treasure, and interact with others. It’s important to note that it has been changed now to keeping 50% of your treasure if you leave from a room other than a break room, instead of only 10%.

More Info On The Tower

1. The rooms are entirely randomized, so your experience will be different every time.

2. The rooms get more difficult as you climb higher and higher, so it will get more difficult to progress.

3. When you are in a maze room, if a barrier is down and you click to move to the other side of it, even if it goes up while you are waddling, you will still walk through it.

4. There are 5 different sizes of piles of coins that are on the ground in maze rooms, stand in one place on top of them until you’ve picked all of them up.

Ye Knight’s Quests

There are three main quests you must complete down in the dungeons! To get to these quests, find the sign that looks like this:

They are located at the mine, the forest, the cove, and the plaza. Once you click on the sign, it will open the poster. Click on the “Onward to Adventure” button to get started!

You’ll be taken to the main dungeon area, where you’ll see three quest entrances in front of you, as well as the instructions in the top left.

There are quite a few steps to each of these quests, so let’s get started!

Quest I

The first room of the quest looks like this, and your goal is to light up all the orbs.

There is no specific order to this room, so just step on all the grey mats next to the orbs until all 5 are lit up!

The second challenge room is also very straight forward. Just throw snowballs at the targets until the counter in the bottom right hits 50, and the gate will open!

The third and final challenge in this quest is a bit tricky. It is a maze, and begins with this room.

You’ll notice a sign in the top right with a pattern of symbols. Each of these symbols represent a direction you are supposed to go in the maze! Here is what each of them mean.

So with this in mind, the correct order of directions to go through the maze is:

DOWN

LEFT

DOWN

RIGHT

RIGHT

UP

Once you have gone these directions, you will reach this room and have completed the first quest!

Quest II

The second quest begins in this room:

Your goal here is simple! Throw snowballs at all four torches to extinguish them, and the gate will open to the next room!

The next room has a puzzle with a sliding key and a lock, and your goal is to get the key to slide into the lock.

You slide the key around by clicking on the golden arrows, and it will slide in whatever direction you have clicked all the way until it reaches either the square shaped barrier or the edge of the puzzle. It is important to note that this puzzle is randomized and changes every time you enter the room, so there is no one right way to do it. Just keep moving the key around till it goes into the lock, and the pathway to the next room will open!

The next room is just a transition room featuring a free item that will be discussed later in the guide, so feel free to just waddle through!

Now, you’ve come face to face with the dragon.

Luckily, there are instructions on how to complete this room, which are right here!

Once you’ve filled the barrel, sprayed the dragon three times, and thrown your snowballs, the dragon will look like this and the gate will be opened!

You have reached the final room, completed the quest, and can exit back to the main dungeon area.

Quest III

In the first room of quest three, you’ll notice 3 upside down chalices with colored gems under them, and mats in front. To complete this challenge, simply stand on the mat in front of the chalice that you believe the correctly colored gem is under! Do this three times to move to the next room.

For the next challenge, you must push the colored buttons in the correct order when they pop out from under the iron bars.

The CORRECT order of buttons to press is:

RED

BLUE

YELLOW

Once you’ve pushed the buttons in the correct order, the gate will open and you are on to your next room.

In this room, it is important to pick up the free Gold Staff and Shield, as it will help you in the next room!

Once you’ve picked that up, and waddled through, you’ll be confronted with the hydras!

To defeat them, it is all a matter of timing and skill. There are three colored hydra heads, each with a different attack and way to be defeated. The health of each of them can be seen in the top left corner. The hydras will rotate, and can only attack or be attacked while they are in the front. They will also repair once they rotate out, so be sure to damage them fully before they rotate.

YELLOW HYDRA: Wear the Gold Staff and Shield to deflect this hydra’s beam attacks, and damage it until its health bar is gone. The area in which it will strike highlights yellow, so be sure to stand in that area.

BLUE HYDRA: This one must be defeated by dumping lava on its head. Wait for the lava bucket to be filled, and then throw a snowball at the bucket when it is over the hydra’s head. Continue this process till the health bar is gone. Be careful though, the blue hydra will breathe ice and freeze you from throwing snowballs! Make sure to avoid the sections on the ground highlighted blue, as that is where it will attack.

RED HYDRA: Arguably the easiest of the hydras to defeat, simply throw snowballs at the hydra’s head until its health bar is gone.

Once all the hydras are defeated, they will disappear and your path will be unlocked!

You have now reached the final room, and have completed all three quests! Congratulations!

Magical Items

Now, let’s move on to collecting those Magical Items! There are three to collect. It is important to collect these as soon as possible, because you will need to have them for later quests.

The first is the Fairy Branch.

This is located at the docks, here on the rock.

The second is the Spheres of Starlight.

This is located at the Beach, right here.

The third and final one will be the Cursed Stones.

These are located at the Ski Village, here.

PARTY QUESTS

There are 20 quests to complete to receive the party reward! To make it easier for you, we have numbered them, and will break down how to achieve each one. There are 4 categories denoting their difficulty. They are Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme. The little penguin symbol next to it means you must have other penguins to complete it. Fortunately for you, we have a great community of people working towards these quests at the same time, you can join our Discord here!

1. Get lost in the maze of Ye Knight’s Quest 1

To complete this, go back to the first quest in the dungeons, and get to the maze section. Once you have done this, the easiest way to “get lost” is to simply go UP three times. Once you do this, you should enter a room that gives you a hint, and the quest is completed.

2. Water all the mushrooms on the beach

This one is simple! Head to the beach, and click on the watering can.

Once you have clicked on it a few times, all four mushrooms will appear and you have completed this quest!

3. Have a full tea party in the lodge

Head to the ski lodge, and sit at the table in the bottom right corner. Once all the chairs are full, click on the tea pot, and the tea will pour. That’s it!

4. Transform into a fairy

Head to the docks, and click the little potion towards the top right. Agree to transform into a fairy, and you’re done!

5. Toss a coin to your WitchBot

Go to the Tour HQ, and stand in front of the tour bot towards the bottom of the screen. Hit E+M on your keyboard, not in the chatbar, and it will make a coin emote. That’s all!

6. Have a feat with 10 penguins at the Pizza Parlor

Simply go to the Pizza Parlor and wait for 10 people to join you around the table!

7. Collect all coins from a big pile in the Tower Maze

Head back to the infinity tower, and get to a maze level. Look for a big pile of coins like this, and stand on it till all the coins are collected. Its just trial and error as to whether you find one or not, so just keep entering maze rooms till you find one!

8. Hit an enemy with the wrong attack in the Infinite Tower.

This one is straight forward! Get to a battle room in the tower, and stand on the incorrect mat for the enemy you are throwing at. For example, throw ice at the snow enemy!

9. Transform into a dragon

For this quest, there are many steps to get there, so let’s get started!

First, head to the ski hill. Click on the large red door towards the right of the screen. If you have not completed collecting the magical items, head back to that portion of the guide and do that first. If you have, go ahead and enter the Mountain of Misery!

Cross the bridge, enter the next room, and stand on the edge of the cliff nearest to dragon in the clouds! The dragon is named Scorn. You’ll be asked if you are prepared for battle!

These are the instructions for completing the battle successfully.

The health bar of Scorn is at the top of the screen! Continue shooting at the spheres to damage the dragon and rack up points before he destroys the ground that you are standing on to win the battle! There is also a special orb you can hit to shoot twice as fast, shown below.

Once you are victorious, you’ll receive this golden crown.

After you’ve done this, you’ll unlock the path to this beautiful room for victors!

Click on the little potion bottle to the right of the screen, and confirm you want to transform into the dragon!

Once you’ve done this, the quest is complete!

10. Reignite an extinguished flame in Ye Knight’s Quest 2

Now that you are already transformed into a dragon, head back to the dungeons to the first room of Quest 2. Simply throw snowballs (breathe fire balls) at a torch another penguin is extinguishing, and that’s it!

11. Experience a full Day Cycle in the Infinite Tower

For this quest, you’ll need to head back to the Infinite Tower. Simply begin to climb levels, and as you reach break rooms, you will notice the light levels changing outside the window. You have to get to 7 different break rooms to successfully complete the cycle. Below are pictures of all the light levels you must experience in the Break Rooms without dying.

12. Defeat 8 enemies in the Infinite Tower without being hit

Go to the infinite tower. In the battle rooms, successfully eliminate 8 enemies without losing a life to one of their attacks. Thats all!

13. Sit with 15 Penguins in a Break Room

In the infinite tower, make it to a break room and sit down. If there are 15 other penguins with you, you will complete the quest!

14. Practice magic with 20 other penguins in the lighthouse

Go to the lighthouse, and click on the hat on the table. Wear it with 20 other penguins doing the same thing, and you’ll have the quest finished!

15. Complete all Ye Knight’s Quests and defeat Scorn

If you’ve been following along with this guide in order, you will have completed this quest already! If not, though, refer back to the Ye Knight’s Quests section in this guide and complete them, and go back to Party Quest number 9 to see how to defeat Scorn.

16. Reach Floor 150 in the Infinite Tower.

This one is going to take a lot of time and practice! Head to the infinite tower, and just keep climbing till you get to Level 150. Remember, 90% of your highest level progress is saved, so even if you die, you won’t start back at the beginning.

17. Get 20 Questions right in a single Infinite Tower run.

With the question and answer bank we have provided you in this guide, you are sure fire to get the questions correct when you get to them. The tricky part, however, will be surviving enough levels to reach 20 questions. Simply keep trying until you’re able to reach 20 different questions without dying.

18. Escape the Infinite Tower with over 1000 coins

This is another quest that is just going to take you working at the tower again and again. Just continue to work through the levels until your treasure count reaches 1000. Be sure to pick up the extra treasure in the maze rooms to help it go by faster! Also, remember to get to a break room before exiting the tower once you hit 1000 so you don’t lose your treasure.

19. Dance with 40 penguins at the Knight Club.

Head to the Knight Club in the center of the town and wait for 40 penguins to dance with you.

20. Climb 75 Floors in the Infinite Tower without failing.

Just like the other quests in the Infinite Tower, your main goal will be to successfully get through 75 rooms without having to start over. Hopefully, you will be able to pair this quest with the other Infinite Tower quests and knock them all out at once!

Once you have completed all the quests, you will get a very special background, only available to those who have earned it!

Knight’s Path

There are a total of 51 items you can earn on the Knight’s Path!

You begin in the center of the path, and must earn skill points by climbing the Infinite Tower!

Like the image says, you get one skill point for climbing five floors. The gold items on the end are worth 2 skill points, but the rest are worth 1. You can only claim ones directly attached to one you have already claimed.

In order to show you all the items that are available, we have labeled all of the items for you with their names!

To claim them all, you’ll need to climb at least 325 floors, so good luck!
