I really do not know how to start this off or how to write stuff like this entirely so let’s just jump right in i guess! Also, apologies for the horrendous grammar.
I joined RPF on February 22nd, 2019 after being recruited by Silverburg in the coffee shop. I literally had no idea what a club penguin army was but it was winter break and I was bored, so I joined, attended a couple events for around a month, and then disappeared for like 7 months woohoo.
But hey! I came back. By September 2019 most of the people I had known from my brief time being semi-active were gone (silv, the umbrella academy group chat people, cosmo kind of) so it was back to square one for me in terms of friends!! Thankfully I was able to meet some pretty cool people upon my return, shoutout to fall 2019 gang, love u guys.
I ranked up reaaaaally slowly, attending the minimal amount of events that I could with my awful school schedule (including some fun 6am ausias mmmm maxing 14), and made my way up to major where I stayed for around 4 months. Winter Olympics came and went (snake eyes gang) and then it was 2020! Didn’t do much early winter of 2020, but when we went into quarantine THAT’S when all of the discord addiction fun times started.
I got Troop of the Week on March 20th, then cadet on March 23rd with Yoshi and Plum, and then officer on April 3rd, and then kinda zoomed through mod ranks until I got Head General on May 28th. Some fun memories (kind of) I have from being mod were the CPAM Premier League, WWR, LCX, summer Olympics with team griffin, and writing event posts (miss them). Also during the summer of 2020 I was hired as team Olympia in RF hub, which led to me also being staff in many RF divisions (fun times love u guys too).
And then, somehow, I was promoted to Third in Command on October 5th, 2020. Being HCOM was a lot different than being mod and I was TERRIFIED that I’d mess something up. I was also very scared of leading because again, I didn’t want to mess anything up, but I like to think I got over that at least a little aha (i still kind of am)…
I did a lot of fun stuff as HCOM, including killing off fellow hcommies with F6 on Halloween, winning the FOF and CCX tournaments, winning the winter Olympics with Team Cerberus (yuhhh), and leading air force to victory that one time (yuhhhhh). Some other fun stuff that happened was getting to work with such an amazing amazing staff team!!! You all were such a pleasure to work and joke around with and I’ll miss talking to all of u silly geese!!
And now after 26 or so months, my time here has come to an end! sad! Maybe you’re wondering, ‘how could you do this steax?? we will miss you so much how could you do this to us please stay forever’ and to tell you the truth, a certain filthy duck bullied me relentlessly for months telling me to retire I have a bunch of big exams and projects coming up with the end of the school year, like AP tests and the ACT, and then in the summer I’ve got a full-time job, and then next year I’ll probably be back in in-person school and I have to also do college applications but also the crossed-out section is true as well.
Basically, I won’t have time to really dedicate to RPF (not that I really had a lot of time to do that to begin with) and I’d rather not suffer trying to spread myself out by doing an unbearable amount of work (even though I kind of did that already).
I will still be around though! I’ll pop into main sometimes and still attend some events, and my DMs are always open if anyone wants to talk or send me rock pictures (always appreciated) :0
I’ve met some really really amazing people because of RPF and I wouldn’t trade the things I’ve done here and the friends I’ve made for anything in the world!!! When I joined I was not expecting it to have this much of an impact on my life. I love you guys <3
