For the nineteeenth edition of the column, we have four lovely interviews lined up – with two members of the RPF staff, both lieutenant generals, and two colonels. Now, let’s get into what the days of these RPF members usually look like!

okay this might be a bit boring lol 😭
usually on a normal day i go to school because yeah i need a #education !! and yk i just go to classes, chat with ppl, etc
when i get home i’m normally just staying at my house, normally on discord chatting with my friends and playing roblox, having a good time, etc! i also like to hang out with my cats and my fam and stuff as well too :3
sometimes on the weekends or on breaks i go out and go shopping/on vacation, and yeah!
that’s pretty much about it LOL 😭

Welcome to a day in the life with patty!! I know everyone is DYING to know what everyones fav is doing (jkjk but lets get into it).
I wake up a little bit later than usual because I’m on university break, so I wake up at around 10am (11am if I’m extra sleepy). I’ll sit in bed for a bit, wake myself up more before brushing my teeth and getting dressed. it’s exam season right now so a lot of my time is spent at my university libraries, or at a different library. Just libraries in general. It’s not that exciting I must say. But it’s lovely seeing my friends and being productive with them! After that, usually my boyfriend comes over! We’ll go for one or two drinks at my local pub if we’re up for braving the English winds, and then pop to the local shops for any groceries I might need for dinner/the rest of the week. Then we stick on a film or series and get cosy in bed!
If I’m not doing uni work during this period, I’m at work. I can’t complain too much, it’s a chill part time job selling cakes and I just sit and read most of my shifts. I also get a free brownie on my shifts which is GREAT. Shout out to my boss fr. But if I’m not working or doing uni work, I’m trying new recipes or doing stuff around the kitchen. Recently I’ve been making soups and jams and dips and all of that and its been so fun!! I try to go to the gym in between all of this too, been trying to hit that muscle grind, so thats something else I do I guess!! I also do NYT puzzles and sudokus throughout the day too. As much as I love a good brain rot and doomscroll, I love brain nourishment.
Of course what would a DitL of me be without an RPF mention. I pop into RPF throughout my days whenever I have a free moment in between my busy life. If I’m very busy then you probably won’t see me pop up (thats a lie I love yapping), but on my free days I’m in there hanging out, having a chat, doing my moderation job etc etc etc. No rest for the wicked.
And at the end of the day, it’s lights out and I’m off to sleep with a sleep podcast on in the background! And repeat all over again.

Here we go. I wake up, I do stuff around the house for my parents, after 12pm I play video games basically from 12-9pm, eat, take a bath sometimes and then go to sleep and that’s a day in my life. Check up on rpf discord and talk and do a event sometimes.

A typical day in my life is pretty laid-back, which I’m incredibly grateful for! My wonderful cat Izzy usually wakes me up demanding to be fed, and then she curls up in her bed next to me at my desk and happily stays asleep whether I’m gaming, working, or even talking on Discord. I work from home 100% of the time and most of my hobbies are tech-based, so Izzy and I get to spend a lot of time together haha. She even loves attending RPF events with me. 😄
I work nights so if it ever seems like I’m secretly living in Europe, it’s actually just me being awake at 6 AM EST after finishing up my shift. Fortunately, my unique schedule allows me to attend just about every EU/US event! (Sorry AUSIA, I can almost never manage to make it 😅)
I’m the only person who works nights at the startup I work at – I’m basically just there for emergencies if things go offline, so things can get a little dull when all the people that I know IRL from the East Coast are asleep. I really appreciate everyone in RPF who’s awake during the same hours I am! It’s so cool how there are rebels from all over the world, and even though I’m often a bit too shy to chat, it feels like I have friends with me. 🥰
When I’m not working (and sometimes when I am, don’t tell my boss), I’m usually playing various Cookie Run games (OvenBreak, Kingdoms, ToA), Roblox, Wizard101, or working my way through the Yakuza series… and of course CPJ/New CP/Penguin Origins. 💖
