Meet Scout Medic Shyfi’s pet cat!
Name: Malcolm

Our pet columnist, Cracked, had a little talk with Shyfi about their cat! Let’s see what they have to say about Malcolm!
Cracked: What’s the story behind Malcolm?
Shyfi: So the story started during quarantine when we were still in the middle of the pandemic. It all started when I thought of adopting a cat and taking care of one but I had no idea when to adopt one. Being stuck at home became the perfect opportunity for me to adopt one. So I then searched up different adoptions in cat pages and that was when I came across Malcolm when he was still a kitten. Upon going there, I wasn’t notified that Malcolm had no tail since he was born but seeing him so tiny and precious made me fall in love with him more.
Cracked: What’s one thing about Malcolm that annoys you?
Shyfi: It’s not really annoying but one thing that I find funny and cute about Malcolm is when he steals table food. He also loves teasing other cats and I’ll know if Malcolm’s teasing other cats when they growl and hiss. He also loves digging loudly in the litterbox in the middle of the night. So you either must be a heavy sleeper or an owner with tons of patience for Malcolm.
Cracked: What’s one thing you wish you could do with your cat?
Shyfi: One thing I wish I could do with Malcolm would be to travel anywhere or be able to go outside with him. Malcolm, being a house cat, is not comfortable going outside or even staying outside for a short period of time because he is a pandemic cat so he’s sensitive to loud noises.
Cracked: If Malcolm could become a different animal, which one would he be?
Shyfi: If Malcolm could become a different animal, he would be a dog. Malcolm would be a dog because he’s picking up their personalities and traits like breathing through his mouth. Another one would be how he lays down flat on the floor with his legs and arms stretched. He also loves chasing toy balls with his dog friends.

Yas: What’s your favourite Memory/Story with your pets?
iFlyWithDemons: Well, My fav memory with Basil is when she would sit on my shoulder as a puppy when I would drive my Blazer. For Finn, so far my favorite memory is when he learned how to go up and down our apartment stairs and seemed so excited and happy with himself. Okay, Smudges memory would be when he met his siblings for the first time. It was the cutest thing ever!
Yas: What do you think your pets would dress up as at Halloween?
iFlyWithDemons: Basil’s dream job would be an accountant. Finn’s dream job would be a chemist and Smudge’s dream job would be a chemist.
Yas: What would your pets dream jobs be, if they were human?
iFlyWithDemons: Basil would dress up as a bee for Halloween. Finn would be a lobster for Halloween. Smudge would be a Void for Halloween.
