There’s nothing like the gap between October and December whilst we wait for the next big holiday. What better way to spend a week in this gap with an RPF Party?! That’s why the Party Planning Committee is thrilled to announce Rebels Before Time!
Running between November 11 and November 17, Rebels Before Time will see the RPF server taken over with a prehistoric theme. Along with thise, there’ll be a number of tasks to complete with an exclusive role for completing them all, and a giveaway!
Read on to find out all about it!
Fossil Dig
What’s a prehistoric party without a dinosaur? To complete this task, the server will need to work together to uncover the skeleton of a dinosaur! If the entire skeleton is uncovered, everyone who participates in these tasks will also be able to enter a custom role giveaway!
To uncover the fossil, the following tasks must be completed in any order
1. Max 30 at an event
2. 15 responses on a single prehistoric themed poll
3. 20 different people incorporate the word ‘dinosaur’ into their conversations in #main-chat*
4. 20 different people with dinosaur themed profile pictures
5. 20 people participate in the bingo
Each of these tasks corresponds to a different section of the fossil. If you have participated in one of these tasks, then please DM a member of PPC to make sure your contribution is noted. If you are unsure who is a member of the team, use the command .inrole party planning committee in the #bots channel.
*Spamming the word won’t count towards the community goal (e.g. word chains).
Bingo
Not all of the tasks are team based, and participating rebels are also invited to take part in the bingo. If you complete all of the tasks, then you will earn the Certified Palaeontologist role. Additionally, you will earn 200 Rebel Cash for each task completed!
To see the bingo board at any time, use .bingo. Once you have completed a task, let a member of the Party Planning Committee know. If you are unsure who is a member of the team, use the command .inrole party planning committee in the #bots channel.
Dinosaur Egg Hunt
As part of the bingo, there will be a dinosaur egg hunt. There are six eggs in total hidden around the server and the website. All six can be seen pictured below. A new one will be hidden daily, so make sure to keep an eye out! There will be a message in #announcements once the next one has been hidden.
Please note that eggs will be hidden in locations where everyone may see them.
Practice Battle
To celebrate the week, we will also be having a long overdue practice battle with our brother allies, Water Vikings. This will be dinosaur vs caveman themed with the rebels being the dinosaurs, so be sure to come and support us!
