Guess it’s my turn on the retirement chopping block, eh?
Dearest reader, I wholeheartedly welcome you to my retirement post that will cover… nothing of importance really. Yeah. You’re reading a post about a dude that’s going to be leaving my 3IC position as staff so suffice to say making this have some sort of value is going to be a challenge. I shall try my best though!
For those of you who either need an introduction or a reminder, hi! I’m EmeraldGreen AKA Em, the dude that’s going to be leaving my 3IC position as staff! I made this decision as my 1st year as an undergraduate starts tomorrow. Figured my best move would be to withdraw from here and focus on my IRL from here on out.
I suppose we can kick off with going over the obligatory ‘here’s my time spent here and here’s all the memories I made’. I’ll sum it all up in quick bullet points so we can get it out of the way! I’ll divide it in three sections – my time in 2020, 2021, and 2022. I would put in some screenshots in this part but they’e all in my old computer that doesn’t work anymore. Welp! All the more reason to gloss over this part. Anyways, let’s jump right in:
2020
You might be wondering “Huh?? You were here since 2020???” and my response to that is, yessir! It surprises even me sometimes so no worries. Here’s what went down:
- Joined in July 1st (same day as Canada Day)
- Attended my 1st event, a U-Lead
- Went MIA for the better part of the year afterwards; prioritizing my real life, real silly of me I know
2021
Here is the year where I slowly but surely become much more active to make up for last year LOL
- Rejoined at the start of January
- Kept ranking up (hit Officer Cadet and ranked up as Occifer)
- Won all those tournaments (too much to go over in detail)
- Just kept vibin really
2022
And thus I welcome you to the present! Here’s all the highlights of this year:
- Reached General & Third in Command
- CPR shutting down RIP BOZO
- Morbing all over TCP in the war [9-0-1 babeyyy]
- Retiring, wait wha-
Now that we got that out of the way, let’s head to part that everyone actually cares about – the shoutouts!!

Only got one word for you – based! I lied, there’s actually plenty other words here. From mentoring me when I was a fresh mod, to getting the chance to be HCOM with you, to even just having all the memes with Cyd and Mistah Baller. It means a lot in being your woodstock-in-crime. Keep being meritorious dawg.

I’m forever grateful for meeting each and every one of you and for all our time together. The main reason I even signed for staff in the first place is because I like to help others out and work with them. Maybe even possibly making their day a little better. Anything else I couldn’t give two shits about frankly as hcom. I’ve met some genuinely nice and awesome people here (ie you the reader!!!) and while I wish I could stay here for a little longer, it’s time for me to move on. Life has been going up and down in terms of issues like stress, while being staff might not have helped out in that regard, the pros will outweigh the cons in the end me thinks. I can only wish that you all had some laughter and good times while I was around. If that is the case, then it would mean a lot to me in the end of my time here ♔
