A collaboration between the Rebel Penguin Federation, Rebels in Neverland, and Rebel Federation Jam Session from September 27th to October 3rd saw Rebels from the three divisions on a fun jam-packed trip! The rebels were on a mission to visit all Seven Wonders of the World within the week. Each day, they would visit one Wonder of the World and carry out activities to immerse themselves in the culture. Let’s take a look at how the week went!
RF Jam Session
Started on August 6th, 2020, RF Jam Session (also known as the Music Division of the Rebel Federation) is the central hub for all things music-related. They hold a variety of musically themed events such as Guess the Song, Rebel Radio, and Open Mic nights. Started in August 2020, the over 1000 members of Jam Session are all brought together through their love for music. Whether it be band kids, vocalists, instrumentalists, producers, or even just audience members who appreciate the art of music, there is something for everyone in the Music Division to enjoy. Make sure to check the out here if you have not!
Rebels In Neverland
Started on August 19th, 2020, Rebels in Neverland is currently home to over a thousand Disney fans. A variety of Disney-related events are held weekly, where Rebels have the chance to catch a Disney movie together, sing Karaoke and even compete in game tournaments (including fun quizzes)! The active community allows everyone to share their thoughts on Disney movies, theme parks and even their favourite Disney songs! Be sure to check it out here if you aren’t already a member of the server!
Day 1: India
As the excited Rebels get ready for the fun adventures ahead this week, they first head to India. Rebels in Neverland kickstarted the WOW tour with streaming of The Jungle Book: Animated version. During the stream, the Rebels encountered various wild animals, and here’s a comment of one of our members:
Shortly after, a Jeopardy (WOW version) game session was held in the RPF server. Troops and staff represented their two branches (Navy and Air Force) in a true Jeopardy quiz game style to show off their general knowledge about places around the earth. Close to two hours after the game started, it concluded with Air Force being the eventual winners with 17800 points. Congratulations!
Day 2: Jordan
After the short trip to India, the Rebels were then brought to Jordan, where a fantastic fashion show awaits! They headed to Link’s igloo to await being judged for their Bollywood-inspired outfits.
Eventually, the Fashion Queen of the night is none other than… GABI!!!
Next, the Rebels were in for a music treat! There was a Global Music Rebel Radio program being held, where everyone could request for international songs to be played. A whooping 22 songs were requested in various languages! You can take a listen here.
The second RPF event of the day saw Rebels dressed as Jasmine-inspired outfits for a fun game of Hide-and-Seek! In a classic game of Hide-and-Seek, troops had to hide from the terrifying HCOM members who would search high and low in CPR for troops. There can only be one winner… TROOPS!!!
To end off the journey in Jordan, the Rebels had the chance to watch Aladdin in live-action! Rebels in Neverland hosted the streaming and I’m sure Genie wasn’t the only magical thing around as everyone was enchanted by the brilliant acting of the cast.
Day 3: Italy
The Rebels traveled to Italy on Day 3 of the WOW tour to learn about the Colosseum and appreciate the wonderful culture of the country. They first stopped in Music Division for a Eurovision Watch Party, including this year’s winners and memorable acts from the past!
The next stop was the Rebel Penguin Federation as they waddled around the island to perform cheesy tactics and saucy formations for Operation: Slice of Italy.
The day ended with a splash as movie night in Disney Division began and the rebels gathered together to watch Luca.
Day 4: China
Day 4 saw Rebels visit China for some fun-filled activities. Starting the day off with a Club Penguin event, a scavenger hunt was held in a themed igloo! Congrats to the winners, Anya and Tomtombombomtimtamtamalam!
Following up on our hunt, we headed to Club Penguin island later on to have a fun Card Jitsu-themed event! Rebels dressed as ninjas or the three elements (fire, water, & snow). After some shenanigans, we headed back to the RPF Server for a virtual Card Jitsu event between Navy and Air Force. Congrats to the Navy for being the Card Jitsu Master!
Our Day ended with a relaxed stream of the animated version of Mulan in the Disney Division!
Day 5: Mexico
The day started off with an Open Mic session in the RF Jam Session, where brave souls would sing for everyone in the concerts VC. It was a fun session for both performers and audience alike, as 13 people turned up for it!
This was followed by a very fun Quinceanera-inspired party in RPF. Everyone dressed their penguins in pretty dresses and wore flowers in their hair as they danced around CPR. What a party that was!
As a follow-up for the Quinceanera-inspired party, Rebels in Neverland hosted a streaming of the movie Coco to end the day!
Day 6: Peru
The day in Peru started off with a fun Puffle Paddle tournament. Everyone dressed as aliens (using tickets from the CPR fair to purchase the outfits) and did some fun tactics before paddling puffles at the Fair. Congratulations to fooe for winning the Master Juggler role by scoring 3369 points during the tournament!
Next, a streaming of The Emperor’s New Groove was shown in Rebels in Neverland server.
For the last event of the day, Rebels turned to CPR to dress as colours on their flags. Feels like International Day came a little early! Making use of the Fair rooms, we did some International tactics in various forms and we weren’t afraid to show off our awesome flag colours!
Day 7: Brazil
As our journey around the world approaches an end, the last leg of our trip takes us to Brazil! Rebels in Neverland started our day off with the movie Rio!
Next, the Rebels logged onto CPR for a Brazillian-inspired carnival event! First, we paraded around CPR in our carnival outfits. Then, we had a fun game of Skribbl! Congratulations to Tomtombombomtimtamtamalam for winning the Skribbl game!
Our very final event of this journey is held in the Music Division. As our host, nooza initiated discussions about cultural music, which was very insightful!
It’s truly been a fun week here in the Rebel Federation with a collaboration three of the largest divisions! We got to learn about the Seven Wonders and join each other in a variety of fun events.
Over the course of the week, 26 Rebels earned the Rebel Voyager role!
Although this WOW tour has ended, we look forward to our next interesting tour! Before you go, do check out our travellers’ review of this year’s WOW tour:
