This week marks the seventy-first official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Brenatto, Yvng, Mars, Cracked, and Guinz) ask two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked give us a better understanding of each soldier and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of soldiers here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it will be difficult to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!
The four interviewees for this week are Alienn, Anya, CrimsonX and Yodabobobo!
Alienn and Anya
Hello Rebels! It’s Guinz here and I’ll be your host for this edition of Troop Interviews! To start this off, we have Yvng interviewing two of our relatively new Officers, alienn and anya! Read on more to find out about being RPF Officers!
How does it feel to have become an Officer?
alienn: Pretty awesome! 
It’s been a great experience so far getting to help out in RPF more and working with all the other amazing mods 
anya: It still feels surreal ngl 
Half the time I forget I’m an officer 
yvng: Glad to hear you’re enjoying your first couple weeks of being an officer so far alienn 
and I felt that at first too anya when I got promoted to officer back in October LOL you get used to it!! 
Why do you think you earned Officer rank?
anya: im not too sure about this buuut probably bc i was active im also aware i spent a lot of time (too much!!!) in main, so that may also be one of the reasons. mods are supposed to moderate chat, so i suppose being active is a quality that is considered 
alienn: It has honestly been a goal of mine ever since I was a troop and I think just following the examples of other staff and taking my mentor advice every week really helped 
I know that even though I got officer, I’m still learning and I learn something new every day still And Also chat activity bc anya and I don’t sleep 
yvng: for sure anya you were very active during your time as a troop as well as your time as doot (also yeah you did spend too much time!! #anya4sleep 
) also alienn def amazing listening to the advice of your mentor since they do have a lot of great things to give! seems like you both had the qualities to become a future staff of this community!!
What advice would you give to other troops who aspire to be Officer?
alienn: I would def say that what you put into it is what you get out! Make sure to attend as many events as you can, be a friendly troop in chat and to ofc follow the rules Also don’t be afraid to ask for help! We as staff are here to help so if you have any questions or want any advice your mentor will be there to help you be successful 
anya: im not good at giving advice, but personally, i’d say follow your dreams and the rules ofc. helping out fellow rebels, getting to know others, it all comes in a package and also gives you practice to be a good officer 🙂 oh and dont be afraid of making mistakes. ive made quite a few in my short time as officer, but what matters is i learnt from it 
yvng: thats some hot advice, troops def take some notes!! 
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
anya: oh definitely telekinesis 
alienn: I would say flying! 
yvng: ooo they’re def some fun powers 
for me it got to be invisibility!!
What are you looking forward to now that you are a part of RPF staff?
alienn: I am def looking forward to being a bigger part of RPF! So far I’ve loved getting involved in teams like PPC #retrorebels and to be able to help troops out! Also getting to make posts has been super fun 😀
anya: im looking forward to more behind the scenes action 
ive always been curious as to what staff actually do, like i know yall do stuff, i just wanna SEE it yk. its also fun being involved in all the planning, contests etc, i love seeing ppl have fun 😀 maybe its bc im just more of a backstage crew person 
and yes posts are super fun i agree 
yvng: ooo those sounds like some fun plans i would def agree with making posts those are def my fav LOL (reason why i love doing rbt) also glad to hear you both love being involved with all the behind the scenes stuff and love working with both you of as well in those things!!

How long have you been a part of RPF for? 🙂
CrimsonX: I’ve been in RPF for 1-2 months, honestly I lose track XD
Mars: LOL mood! its been great seeing u climb the ranks over time 
i remember back when u were a recruit!
How did it feel to become Troop of the Week and wear that hot pink role?
CrimsonX: Honestly I was stunned when I got TOTW 
, but it was fun having the pink role! 
Mars: aww yeah i remember feeling super shocked and happy 
that pink looked super spicy on you, congrats again! <3
Why do you think you earned Troop of the Week? 
CrimsonX: Hard work and attending loads of events while being energetic
Mars: for sure its been awesome seeing u in chat a ton 
and event attendance is always super important and helps you stand out!
What advice would you give to other troops who aspire to be Troop of the Week one day? 
CrimsonX: Work hard and work intelligently, help others, and be an asset to the team
Mars: great tips, take notes troops!
Do you have any goals you want to achieve in RPF and if so, what are they?!
CrimsonX: My main goal in the RPF is to work my way up to Staff and help out RPF, when I was very young I always wanted to learn how to manage stuff in the RPF, now at a matured age I think it would be nice
Mars: awwww nice :”) cant wait to see you hopefully get there some day! perhaps we can get #CrimsonX4staff trending

What do you do outside of RPF in your free time?
CrimsonX: laughs Most of the time I hang out with troops in RPF, but I usually play minecraft, work on twitch channel, and make videos I go outside to touch grass too 
Mars: that sounds awesome ayyy, im on minecraft and twitch quite a bit as well :”) and yes touching grass is thus far most important !!! LOL 
Any last words?
CrimsonX: Fight The good fight, touch grass often pls, and then make sure that you’re following all social media networks of the RF!
Mars: yes go support the social media team!

Last but not least, we were fortunate to have Cracked interview Yodabobobo, our newest Third in Command! Let’s jump right into it!
Why do you think you earned the position?
Yodabobobo: I think I earned position because I’ve been working hard as an officer staying on top of my duties and the other HCOM felt I would be ready for the next step in my RPF journey!
Cracked: For sure! You’ve always been on point with staff duties, as well as being a friendly face for everyone, including the troops! Can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish next
How far do you plan on going? Could we ever see you in red one day 
Yodabobobo: I’ve been ranking on a go with flow mindset, so we shall see. At the moment, I don’t plan on going for Rebel Commander but I would like to make an impact as HCOM for the RPF Community!
Cracked: Going with the flow is always a good thing as long as you are enjoying yourself! Rebel Commander or not, I’m sure we can expect great stuff from you in the future 
What’s your favorite task or responsibility as HCOM and what’s the one you don’t like as much?
Yodabobobo: I actually like a ton of stuff as HCOM! I enjoy being able to plan the events with other HCOM for the week as well helping run Rebel Broadcast Team with brenatto! I like being apart of more behind the scenes for RPF as HCOM! Personally one of the things I wasn’t looking forward to if I got HCOM was leading, but hopefully as I do more leading, i’ll def enjoy it more!
Cracked: Planning events seems so fun honestly, and working in rbt with you and bren as leaders is definitely an amazing experience Leading also does seem quite scary to me, but leading the community to victory in a practice or branch battle has got to be so satisfying, I can picture you leading many succesful battles moving forward
