TROOP INTERVIEWS: ART, IARUU, AND RACH

Welcome to the #108th edition of Troop Interviews! Each month, our team of interviewers (Firehose, Mollsr, Patty, Art, Lemur, and Ella) sits down with two or more Rebels to ask unique, personalized questions. Every interview is designed to highlight what makes each member of our community different, similar, and overall awesome! With so many members in the Rebel Penguin Federation, we cannot get to everyone right away, and the Rebel Broadcast Team truly appreciates your patience. We hope to feature you in a post someday!

For this edition, we met with Art, Iaruu, and Rach!

Art

Starting us off, we have Third-in-Command Art interviewed by Firehose!

How did you first hear about RPF, and what made you decide to join?

From searching stamp guides online way back when to how Art helps out in our #stamp-help channel, she surely has come a long way since then!

What’s a typical day like balancing leadership responsibilities while staying so involved in the community?

It’s clear how honored Art feels in her role and how much she enjoys supporting the community!

How do you decide where to focus your time each day, and what’s your approach to helping staff and members when they need guidance?

It’s amazing to see how much care and attention Art puts into supporting staff and helping new troops feel welcome!

Can you share a moment where you saw someone grow or succeed because of your guidance?

It’s great to hear how Art has helped troops and officers, and how her support has contributed to their growth!

How has being Third-in-Command shaped your experience compared to when you first joined, and what keeps you motivated to stay so active at this level?

It’s awesome to see how Art balances leadership with having fun and connecting with the community, while still making time for herself outside of RPF!

What’s a memorable or funny moment from an event that stands out, or if you could create any RPF event without limits, what would it look like?

Those events were indeed epic! We hope to see Art‘s Monster High or Total Drama Island event idea come to fruition one day!

Again, thank you Art for this interview!

Iaruu

Next up, we have Major General Iaruu interviewed by Firehose!

How did you first hear about RPF, and what motivated you to join?

Iaruu is no stranger to our side of Club Penguin before joining, and it’s awesome to hear how great the atmosphere is in the community, especially for new and returning players!

What has been your favorite memory or moment in RPF so far?

Iaruu has had so many great moments already, here’s to many more!

Do you enjoy the competitive side of RPF events, or do you prefer the more fun, casual ones?

Iaruu says she likes both, we love seeing adaptability and flexibility!

What’s been your favorite part about being staff? And looking ahead, do you have any goals or things you’d like to do next in RPF?

We love a helpful person enjoying what they do. We’re excited for Iaruu to go and achieve PPC and become General!

What’s something fun or unexpected about you that people might not know?

Crochet and astronomy— talk about being extra awesome! Even if physics is not Iaruu‘s main thing, it’s great that she stays informed and attending expos!

Lastly, what advice would you give to new members or anyone looking to move up in RPF?

Very well said, comfortability is indeed important! Look forward to seeing Iaruu‘s creations in our #art channel!

Thank you, Iaruu, for a great interview!

Rach

Last but not the least, we have Colonel Rach interviewed by Mollsr!

How long have you been in RPF and how did you find us?

Rach found us on Reddit and what made her stay is the overall welcoming environment of our community! We’re glad to have made you feel that way!

Did you play the original Club Penguin, and do you have a favorite memory from then, or on Club Penguin Journey?

Rach is a veteran Club Penguin Player, having played 2009-2012! Her favorite is the Fair Party, and she loved getting new items and secrets! A month later, the Fair Party was held on CPJ! What a pleasant coincidence!

What hobbies/interests do you like to do when you’re chilling and not on RPF?

Rach loves reading and crafting and we have more to look forward to in #art channel with her latest oil pastels obsession!

If you could give any advice to past Rach, what would you say?

Current Rach would like to tell baby Rach to be true to herself instead of trying to please others. We could not agree more!

Do you have any advice for new troops?

As Rach wanted to tell her past self, her advice to our new troops is to be their authentic selves! With how inclusive our community is, the rest will fall into place!

Thank you, Rach, for this wonderful interview!

A huge thanks to Art, Iaruu, and Rach for taking the time to share your journey with us, and of course, thank you for reading! We appreciate you stopping by and hope you enjoyed this edition of Troop Interviews! Until next time!
