Troop Interviews sees a team of interviewers (Angie, Mollsr, Artistic, Buhnny, Ella, and Lemur) asking two or more troops questions! Interviews are tailored to each troop in order to showcase the many interests and personalities and diversity across all of our rebels. With the exponential growth of our community it can be hard to get to everyone, so the Rebel News Team appreciates your patience!
Without further ado, relax and enjoy these interviews from two Cadets and a Lieutenant!
Glo
Kicking us off, we have Angie interviewing Glo!
What has your RPF experience been so far?
Angie began by asking Glo what her RPF experience so far has been like! Glo answered that there has been nothing but positive vibes. She enjoys attending events and chatting, and she says it’s the positivity and active people that keep her in the community. Angie also agreed that the positive energy is what makes people stay and engage (<3).
How did you first join RPF?
Asking Glo how she joined RPF, we find out that it was Angie herself who recruited Glo! Angie approached Glo on the Beach on CPJ with a rubix cube and Glo was intrigued (being new). Glo thanked Angie and Angie had nothing but sweet words for Glo, saying she’s a sprinkle of light in our server.
Do you see yourself moving up to our staff ranks? If so, where would you like to get up to?
Glo sees herself moving up to the staff ranks one day and we’re all for it! Glo says that she loves helping people out and enjoys recruiting! As far as ambition, Glo wants to make it as high up the ranks as she can lead herself to through hard work.
As Glo, the person you are today, what advice would you give little Glo from the past if you could give her any?
Angie asked Glo if she would have any advice for her younger self. Even though tears were coming to her eyes, Glo responded that she would tell herself to live in the moment and not to let experiences pass her by. She’d remind herself to appreciate the little things and keep being true, positive and kind. All of these are beautiful sentiments that I’m sure we could all use a little reminder of 🙂
What is your favourite colour and why?
Glo says that her favourite colour is pink! However, previously her favourite colour has been blue (specifically Navy blue). She says that this changed during her college move where she embraced her more feminine side! Angie also agreed that blue used to be her favourite before green!
What advice would you give a new RPF rebel?
Finally, Angie asked what advice Glo would have for a new rebel. Glo would tell new rebels to enjoy everything that RPF has to offer! Don’t hesitate to join events and chat to new people, that RPF is very welcoming and everyone can find their place.

Secondly, we saw Art interviewing Ihasparkelz!
How did you join RPF?
Starting off, we find out how Sparkelz joined RPF! She was stamphunting, looking for the band stamp, where the penguins who helped her told her about our group! After joining she realised she had been using our game guides all along!
And following from Art’s question: What’s been your favourite thing about RPF? We have Sparkelz’s answer!
Sparkelz says that the community is so nice and willing to help. When she was promoted, a few people joined VC just to listen to a song that goes with her nickname <3. She never thought she’d meet people like the rebels in RPF and it really made her day.
How does it feel being the newest Captain (now Cadet !!) and do you have RPF goals you’d like to achieve?
What are your favourite RPF events?
Art asked Sparkelz how it felt to be the newest Captain (and now she’s reached Cadet!) and if there were any RPF goals she’d like to achieve. Sparklez replied that she loves ranking up and events are her favourite times of the week! She would also love to reach HCOM someday (and she’s got our support!)
Art also asked what Sparkelz’s favourite events are, Sparkelz reminisced on the movie script event where she had the chance to lead a quote she says daily “IM TIRED OF THE GRANDPA”. Below we also get insight into Sparkelz church beach trips where they watched holes so much they got bored and clapped everytime they dug a hole, LOL.
Besides RPF what do you like to do for fun/hobbies?
Besides RPF, Sparkelz enjoys baking, which she actually does for a living! She has a sourdough starter named Doughby Maguire and also loves learning how to cook, where she is self-taught!
What’s your favourite time of year/holiday?
Finally, Art asked what Spakelz’s favourite holiday is. Christmas was her answer because snow is her favourite weather and she also gets to see all the family she doesn’t see too often.

Pearl
Finally, we have Angie to close us out with an interview from Pearl!
What is your favourite thing about RPF?
Angie began with asking what Pearl’s favourite part of RPF is. She responded that she loves how kind everyone is and that at the start, she was a bit scared to join but it’s been one of the best decisions she’s ever made and that no one ever feels left out.
How did you join RPF?
Pearl recounts how she joined RPF while a group was recruiting, though she doesn’t remember who. Angie recalled how at the start when she joined she was a lurker but decided to chat one day and the rest is history!
Do you plan on ranking up all the way? If so, what’s your goal rank?
When talking about ranks, Pearl says that she’s not sure about ranking up more as she’s noramlly busy during events but that being an Officer would be cool, Angie agreed saying she could see Pearl being an Officer 😉
What is your favourite colour and why?
Angie asked Pearl what her favourite colour is, to which Pearl responded Barbie pink! Her bedroom is even painted this colour :0. She also enjoys sage green and lavender purple, saying life is too short to not have a pop of colour.
If you got a million dollars gifted to you, what’s your first purchase and why?
If Pearl was gifted a million dollars, she’d buy a theatre! She loves musicals and plays and would love to create her own theatre company. She studied singing and costume design and loves dancing and would love to have a place to share her love of the arts with similarly minded people!
What advice would you give a new incoming Rebel?
Lastly, Pearl gives advice to new Rebels, she says to not be afraid of talking in chat, that we love new people and to get to know the fellow Rebels!
