Welcome to our #109th edition of Troop Interviews!!
Troop Interviews sees members of the Rebel Broadcast Team (Firehose, Mollsr, Artistic, Ella, and Lemur) asking troops questions to get to know them better! Interviews are tailored to each troop in order to showcase the diversity across all of our Rebels. With the exponential growth of our community, it can be hard to get to everyone, so the Rebel Broadcast Team appreciates your patience!
Grab a drink and a snack and enjoy these interviews from a 2 Colonels and a Cadet!
HuhBuh
When did you join RPF and how?

Starting off, HuhBuh recalls how they joined RPF on the 14th November when a group of penguins trying to earn the penguins at work coffee stamps were being helped by a penguin from RPF!
What do you like the most about RPF so far? And what advice would you share with newer troops?

HuhBuh says she loves how open RPF is. She says that since joining RPF has been so welcoming and inclusive, everyone is very chill and that we can all joke together. Some advice HuhBuh has for new troops is to embody the spirit of generosity and reciprocity in RPF.
What’s your favourite type of tournament/RPF event?

CCXV being HuhBuh’s only tournament so far, she has many more to come! HuhBuh particularly enjoys Igloo and Stamp Raids and Branch Battles! HuhBuh says that during competitive battles, she loves to see the cooperation and everyone coming together, including vets and people who aren’t as active anymore.
If you could plan your own RPF event, what would it look like? And do you have any goals for ranking up in RPF?

HuhBuh says she enjoys themed events and would love to see an event based on something that everyone is excited about, so there can be lots of tactic suggestions! As far as rank goals, HuhBuh is open to ranking up. She says all the Officers and HCOM she’s interacted with are very kind and motivating. It would depend on the time she can dedicate whether she would go all the way to staff.
What do you like to do outside of RPF? And if you could time-travel, would you go to the past or the future?

HuhBuh enjoys Pokémon and listening to music to destress and has a goal to write a novel someday! She reads a lot and also likes to learn new languages! Right now, she is learning French and Mandarin, and also on a health kick, enjoying morning walks. HuhBuh says she would like to travel to the past, given the chance. She would like to meaningfully spend time with her family and take advantage of more opportunities.
If you could pick a fictional world to visit, which place would you go to?
Huhbuh says travelling to Westeros would be cool but very dangerous, so somewhere like Club Penguin would be cool! It would be cool to earn money from playing games… or drilling at the iceberg. Endless possibilities!
BobaKat
How did you find or what brought you to RPF?

BobKat first joined RPF by hearing penguins talking about mascot trackers in the coffee shop!
Who would you say is your favourite mascot and why?

BobaKat likes Rockhopper. He was the first mascot she ever met in the OG Club Penguin, so nostalgia plays a part. She also enjoys his adventure stories and visiting the Migrator.
From hearing a conversation in the Coffee Shop that led you to RPF back then, what made you stay?

Originally, BobaKat wasn’t that active. She read guides and one day decided to chat! Everyone was very welcoming, and now she sticks around for her friends and events!
You recently moved up to Lieutenant, congratulations! From the day you started moving up, what has been your favourite thing about RPF?

BobaKat has found ranking up fun! She loves the community in RPF and finds a lot of people with similar interests. She always looks forward to the next ping!
If you were to plan and create an event for a future event ping, what would it be, and how would it go details-wise?

BobaKat says she would host an event on the Beach! She would plan an outfit with the fish helmet and floaties! She’d also like to try a fish form!
What’s a fun fact about you that our fellow Rebels don’t know?

BobaKat has a fear of deep water, for as much as she loves water. On holiday after swimming out too far, she thought something was going to come and grab her!
Speaking of Aqua Grabber, what’s your most liked mini-game on Club Penguin?

BobaKat’s favourite mini-game used to be Puffle Round Up, but has since become Cart Surfer. Earning lots of coins has made it more enjoyable!
Lastly, what would your advice be to troops in RPF, either new or who’ve been here for a while, quietly observing?

BobaKat’s advice is to pop in chat if you’re lurking and say hi! Everyone is welcoming and friendly, so you’ll make friends in no time. She also says to check out the events because they’re a blast!
Lonk
How long have you been a part of RPF?

Lonk first joined RPF in 2019! He is officially Unc.
What is your favourite thing about RPF, especially over the years?

Lonk loves the community of RPF! He always checks in to see how everything is going.
What are some random facts about you?
Lonk is a hockey player! And is only good at Ice Fishing on Club Penguin. He’s only won one (1) game of Card Jitsu on CPJ, and his penguin is over 660 days old!
What has been your highest rank and why?

Lonk’s current rank is his highest! Life always seemed to come too fast before, but we’re glad to have him here now!
Is there something about RPF you’d like to see improve on or add to the server in the future?

Lonk would like to see chat levels in the future so the certified yappers can be recognised with unbelievably high levels.
Thanks very much for taking the time to read our troop interviews! Thank you to all of our interviewees and interviewers! If you would like to be interviewed, please reach out to a Broadcast Team member!
