This week marks the ninety-second official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Cracked, EllaBella, and Rachel) asks two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have the same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked to give us a better understanding of each troop and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of members here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it won’t be easy to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!
We have two interviews this week with Joseph and Chan.
Joseph
Hey there rebels, it’s Rachel here, and I’ll be your host for this edition of Troop Interviews! To begin, EllaBella interviewed our newest Third In Command Joseph. Let’s see what they had to say!
Ella started the interview by congratulating Joseph on his promotion to Third In Command. Quite the accomplishment indeed!
How does it feel to have become a part of the higher command?
To begin with the questions, Ella asked Joseph how it felt to become a part of the higher command. He replied by saying that it felt exciting, but also nerve racking at the same time. That’s understandable!
Who was your mentor and how have they helped you?
To continue, Ella asked who Joseph’s mentors were, and how they helped him. His mentors were Emerald and Z3 and they helped him by keeping it real and giving advice on what he needed to work on.
What does being a leader mean to you?
Next, Ella asked Joseph what being a leader means to him. Joseph said that to him a leader is someone who is experienced, can handle the pressure, and has a positive influence on people. That’s definitely a great explanation!
What HCOM activity are you most looking forward to participating in?
Onto another question, Ella asked what HCOM activity Joseph is looking forward to participating in. He’s looking forward to frequently leading events the most! That’s understandable, leading is very fun!
What was the hardest part about being an officer?
For the last question, Ella asked what was the hardest part about being an officer. Joseph answered by saying that finding his own method of doing things and juggling the responsibilities was the hardest part. I can agree with that!
Ella wrapped things up by thanking Joseph for the interview.
Chan
For our second and last interview of this edition, EllaBella interviewed Chan, who was recently promoted to Brigadier General!
To begin the interview, Ella congratulated Chan on his recent promotion to Brigadier General! It’s always nice to have a new member on the staff team.
How does it feel to have become an Officer?
Ella then asked Chan how it felt to become an officer, to which he replied that it’s nice because he enjoys helping others, and he feels more connected to the community. Indeed, we are glad to have Chan on the staff team!
What are you looking forward to now that you are a part of RPF staff?
To continue, Ella asked what Chan is looking forward to the most now that he’s part of the RPF staff. He joined Rebel Records as soon as he was promoted, and he’s looking forward to planning events for the team! Stay tuned for new things from Rebel Records!
How does it feel to be able to access new permissions within the server as a moderator?
Ella then asked how it feels to have new permissions within the server as a moderator. Chan replied saying that it feels cool because he likes to moderate things and keep the chat safe from anything harmful. Definitely the most important parts of being a moderator!
Do you hope to reach HCOM status someday?
For the next question, Ella asked Chan if he hopes to reach HCOM status someday. He’s not sure yet, and wants to focus on becoming a good mod for now, but we’ll see what the future holds. That’s understandable, everyone works at their own pace.
Why do you think you earned Officer rank?
Nearing the end of the interview, Ella asked Chan why he thinks he earned Officer rank. He said that he thinks it’s because of the work he did as Cadet, but doesn’t want to say much else because he doesn’t want to ride his own coat tail.
If you couldn’t have pepperoni on your pizza, which topping would you choose?
For the final question, Ella asked what pizza topping Chan would choose if he couldn’t have pepperoni. He doesn’t share Ella’s odd taste for pineapple, and says that he chooses bacon as his second favorite.
To conclude the interview, Ella thanked Chan for letting her interview him.
