Welcome to a very Special Edition of the Troop Interviews column! 2024 has drawn to a close, and with that comes time for reflection and anticipation for the new year.
So without further ado lets get into the interviews with 5 of our members, ranging from some of our newest troops to our long serving staff and veterans, where they shared their thoughts around the passing year! It’s a long one, so be sure to get a snack and enjoy!

To start us off Art interviewed Link, one of the current Rebel Commanders, to get their insight of the happenings from the past year, and what they hope to see in the year ahead!
What has been your favourite experience in RPF this year?
To begin, Link was asked about the experience in RPF they enjoyed the most over the year.
Splitting up the experiences in a tie, the two experiences Link loved the most were the 2024 Summer Olympics and winning Christmas Chaos XIV. Summer Olympics was a nice break post-Legend’s Cup as also the theme for it was awesome. CCXIV being self-explanatory, a historic win for us!
What do you think the most influential moment in the server over the past year has been?
Continuing the interview, Art asked Link what moment they believe influenced the server the most this year.
In response, Link answered that winning Christmas Chaos XIV was the most influential. It was a spectacular time seeing everyone join together for such an amazing accomplishment. It was an emotional moment, and something that RPF hasn’t seen in a long time!
Are there any awards, achievements etc. you think RPF will reach next year?
Next up, Art asked about the new year, and what Link believes RPF can achieve in 2025.
Link shared that they hope we can continue to collect tournament wins, particularly Legends Cup after 2 years of no success. Link also shared that they hope to see RPF continue growing!
What do you have to say to members who join in the next year?
To close off the interview with link, Art asked what Links message to new troops is.
In response, Link welcomes any new troops, and encourages them to attend events, join in conversations, and to not be afraid to ask questions! It might be a bit intimidating, however we are more than happy to have you all around!

Roogy
Next up, Cy interviewed one of our Lieutenant Generals, Roogy!
What was your favourite event we held this year?
To start the interview, Cy inquired what event Roogy enjoyed the most out of all the ones we hosted throughout the year.
Roogy shared that she enjoyed the HCOM roast event as it was fun to toss unserious jokes and encourage more interaction between everyone in the server!
In the past year, what do you believe was the most influential moment in RPF?
To continue the interview, Cy asked what key moment had the most influence in the server this year.
Roogy recalled the Autumn Tundra war against the Secret Service where we flawlessly beat them, ending in a score of 44-0, as well as defeating the Doritos of Club Penguin in the finals of the CCXIV Tournament to regain our title! While this may not be one single moment, it sure was a time to remember and definitely influenced the morale and excitement in the server a lot!
What are you looking forward to in the server in the year to come?
Moving into the new year now, Cy asked Roogy what she is most excited for in the new year.
She shared that she is anticipating the bi-annual RPF Olympics! A common sentiment is the enjoyable competition this event creates in the server, and how despite a variation of skill levels between competitors, the event is lots of fun for everyone!
What party/Olympic theme would you like to see?
To follow up, and finish the interview, Roogy was asked what her hopes for upcoming party or Olympic themes are.
Roogy shared that she would love to see a Garfield or Peanuts theme take over the server! With both being popular shows, its very possible! I guess we will have to wait and see!

Ellabella855
Next up, Stevos interviewed one of our longest serving majors, Ellabella855!
What has stood out to you the most in the server over the past year?
To begin the interview, Stevos asked Ella what the most notable thing seen in the server was.
Ella shared how noticeable the growth in the servers size has been, especially with us hitting the unbelievable milestone of 15,000 members as of recent!
What was your favourite event we held this year?
Next up, Ella was asked what her favourite event was this year.
Ella chose the Summer Olympics as she was able to connect to people in the server more, even some people she had never spoken to before!
What are your party/Olympic theme predictions for next year?
Stevos then queried about the new year, starting off by asking Ella what themes for parties or Olympics could appear.
Ella responded believing that there could be a Hunger Games themed Olympics or party, as well as a Wizard of Oz themed Olympics, following the recent Wicked movie release!
Where do you see yourself in RPF in the next year?
To close off the interview with Ella, Stevos asked her where she sees herself in the server.
Ella shares she plans on ranking up to the top troop rank of Colonel, and may even become staff if her life/work schedule allows it!

Riccowed
Moving swiftly through, Mary interviewed Sergeant Riccowed who joined in late 2024.
What has been your favourite event in RPF so far?
Beginning the interview, Mary asked Riccowed what event they participated in was their favourite.
Riccowed shared that their favourite event was the Christmas Chaos XIV Finals, recalling how unique of an experience it was with such a large number of people. Other than this they also enjoyed their very first event!
What are you looking forward to in RPF in the next year?
Continuing the interview, Mary inquired about what Riccowed is awaiting in the new year.
Riccowed shared that they look forward to their first whole year in the server, which will come with many events and parties to participate in, such as the bi-annual Olympics!
Do you have any goals you want to achieve during the next year?
Riccowed was then asked about goals or aspirations for 2025.
they shared that they’d most like to continue engaging in the community and enjoying themself
What do you have to say to members who join us in 2025?
Finally, Mary asked if Riccowed had any words or advice for any people who join us in the year to come.
Riccowed welcomes new members, and shares the many things our server has to offer. They also share that while the server might appear intimidating to begin, that should not discourage anyone! When you get to know the people and server its a nice place! You just need to try.

F6Sixer
Lastly, Tulip interviewed F6sixer, one of our RPF Advisors. Lets check what he has to say!
What do you think the most influential moment in the server over the past year has been?
First, Tulip asked F6 what he thinks is the most influential moment in RPF this past year.
F6 responded sharing how the temporary closure of CPJ created a massive surge in RPF members, leading to us winning the CCXIV Finals with a max of ~90 troops! This tournament win is what F6 dons the most influential moment this year!
In this past year, what has been the best accomplishment that you achieved?
F6 was then questioned about his best accomplishment this past year.
Despite now being retired, F6 has worked hard behind the scenes as an advisor, especially with the server bot Rebel Bot. Therefore F6’s largest achievement was managing to bring our beloved Rebel Bot back after an almost total database loss!
What are you looking forward to most in the upcoming year?
For the third question, Tulip asked what F6 is anticipating in the following year.
F6 shared he would like to see RPF winning more tournaments such as March Madness and Legends Cup, and to view our Discord server grow even more, suggesting a goal of 20,000 members! It may seem large now, however after a brilliant end to 2024, it could very well be possible!
Are there any awards, achievements or milestones you think RPF will reach next year?
To round of the interview, and this edition, Tulip asked F6 about what he believes RPF can achieve in the next year.
F6 answered this one with a strong sentiment. He said that it shouldn’t be a major shock to anyone if we win more tournaments and max greater than ever before, and that if we really put our mind to it, we can achieve anything we aim to!
