As usual, the week started off on a high note with some exciting promotions! Mad congratulations to all who received one, especially Jacquardio on Officer Cadet, both RoyallySuperb and z3ming on Brigadier General, and Shark on 3ic! Good luck with your new roles, we know you all are gonna kill it!

We also announced our alliance with the Dark Warriors! You may see them from time to time in our chat repping the ally green name colour! Check out more about our army relations in our Army Community page.

The other night, the Troop of the Week torch was passed to another rebel, most notably, the 150th! A friendly face you can always count on, give it up for Woogs on TOTW! Be sure to say pass congratulations if you catch them in chat!

In exciting news, RPF also announced the long-awaited, 2020 Summer Olympic teams. With the theme of Avatar: The Last Airbender, every troop has been separated into either Team Phoenix, Team Griffin, Team Terra, or Team Hydra! The Olympics officially open today with an opening ceremony! A week full of competitive fun awaits and we hope you all enjoy it!

July 1st marks the halfway point for the year and boy, have we been through a lot! Big thank you to everyone who has stuck around, especially during these tough times. To mark the midway point of 2020, let’s look back at our journey for the year and see how far we’ve come!

Statistics from previous Division Recaps have been pulled to see the comparisons of each month, depicted here to show the drastic size differences! It’s pretty wild to see how far we’ve come in just a matter of 6 months. Of course, these numbers don’t necessarily take into account the different settings of the year which is a big factor for armies! Nevertheless, the growth in such a short time is astounding.

It’s no doubt that a lot has happened since the beginning of this year, and we’ve come a long way! A lot of rebels have retired this year, and we continue to honor them above and beyond as we continue to fight the good fight! We saw the rise of two Rebel Commanders this year already, one returning and one new – Cosmo and Crazzy!

The Coronavirus Pandemic gave a huge rise to the gaming world, and particularly Club Penguin, as more and more people came to enjoy the game they played as a kid, or even just to socialize. Our size increase is hugely credited towards this, but also the hard effort from troops, mods, and HCOM alike! Recruiting has become a huge part of the culture here at RPF, and troops are collecting tons of Seasonal Roles! Even just 6-7 months ago, that wasn’t the case as much as it is now.

From the Festival of Lights to the recent Music Jam, we’ve had plenty of parties to look back on and share memories from!

From the start of the year with an unscheduled kick off of the Festival of Lights party…

To the largest CPA event in history with 178 people…

To the largest battle in recent CPA history with over 250 total army combatants online across 11 armies….
