We may be nearing the end of January, but before we jump into the rest of 2024, why not take a look at all the accomplishments, changes, and memories that we experienced together in RPF this past year? Our Rebel Broadcast Team has released their 2023 Year Review, and it covers all of the exciting twists and turns that made up our entire year, including wars, HCOM changes, parties, tournaments, and more!
Now that we’ve taken a look back at 2023, it’s time to create more memories for the current year! RPF has announced its Winter 2024 Olympics, and this time the theme is Mario and Sonic at the Rebel Olympic Games, inspired by classic video game Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games! We’ve got an exciting week of mini-game tournaments planned this week with our three teams: Team Fratres, Team Celeritas, and Team Magicae. Additionally, we have two returning roles available to earn: Team MVP and Rebel Olympian. Be sure to read the announcement post for more details on our Olympics week as well as how to get these roles!
Along with the announcement of the Olympics, our Contests Team has announced a new Olympics-themed Meme Contest!! So put your humor hats on and get creative, because we want to see your best and funniest memes that you can come up with! For details on contest rules, how to enter, and the winning role, be sure to read the contest post! Submissions are due by this Sunday, February 3rd. May the best memes win!

With the new year rolled in and the first tournament arriving in a few days, it was time for another training event! We logged onto Icebreaker-CPAB for Operation: Rebels Are Back where we wore our RPF uniform while doing quick paced tactics and creating neat formations in order to be in best shape for the New Year Bonanza Tournament! Hi Rebels! On Thursday, we logged onto Klondike – CPJ for a pizza themed event, Operation: Slice of Life! We wore various pizza themed items for this training event, and on top of tossing our dough like a boss, we also prepared spectacularly for the New Year Bonanza tournament! It was truly an adoughable display of dedication to our love for buffle bizza.

The Rebels were in store for a surprising tournament Saturday, as they logged on to CPAB – Battleground for the New Year Bonanza battle! RPF faced several unknown opponents, and fought valiantly!
