The RPF Summer Olympics has ended, and it was certainly fabulous!! In this issue, read about all of the game tournaments we had throughout our busy week, see the final Olympics results, and more!

Following our bi-annual tradition, RPF held its 2024 Summer Olympics last week! With the theme of High School Musical 2, the Rebels split up into three teams for a fun and competitive week of mini-game tournaments. Amazing job to everyone on Team Duet, Team Spotlight, and Team Ensemble for working as a team throughout the week, cheering each other on, and giving it your all! Alongside the festivities calming down, we sadly said goodbye to jjdreamz who has stepped down from her position as Lieutenant General. She is recognized for her hard work and devotion to RPF, not just during her time as staff, but in the 8 years she has been a part of RPF altogether. She has been awarded RPF Veteran for her contributions, and we wish the best for her in her retirement and moving forward!

In some lighter news, Club Penguin Journey has released their new PSA Mission 11: Veggie Villain Party, and let’s just say it’s a corny one!! 🌽 As usual, if you get stuck our Club Penguin News Team is here to help! – There were 88 total matches played across our 3 Card Jitsu tournaments!
– Dancers played 144 total games of Dance Contest on Wednesday!
– Competitors survived a total of 42,958 seconds (equivalent to about 716 minutes) in Smoothie Smash together!!
– Surfers earned a total of 139,531 points together Catchin’ Waves!
16 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze medals were won in the Pizzatron tournaments, for a total of 27 medals!!

How many medals were earned over the course of the week?

Throughout the 5 days of game tournaments (including the multiple medals won in the all-time favorite Pizzatron 3000), a total of 64 medals were earned among participants!!

Things got heated quickly for the 2024 Summer Olympics! We kicked off the week with a Card Jitsu tournament in Operation: Cardin’ They Jitsu. The fourth day of the Olympics began with the Rebels logging onto CPJ – Sleet and gathering in the cove to compete in the Catchin’ Waves tournament! In Operation: High Tide, the tide was definitely high along with the tension! With the three teams in their uniforms, we prepped for this tricky tournament with plenty of tenacious tactics! Continuing the fourth day of the Olympics was Operation: Wipeout Warriors! We waddled over to Tuxedo – CPAB in our team outfits for another Catchin’ Waves tournament! We ran around performing tricky tactics and surfing into formations, before putting our real surfing skills to test in Catchin’ Waves survival mode! It’s pizza time, chefs! Grabbing their aprons and team uniforms, the dough-lighted rebels were ready to cheese the day and crust the competition in the first Pizzatron tournament of the day. Olive them made the kitchen blazing hot on CPJ Sleet – Pizza Parlour for Operation: Perfect Pizzas to show off their grate formations and slice their way to the top. We strolled around CPAB – Tuxedo in our team uniforms performing cheesy tactics and tossing ourselves into neat formations, before applying our pizza making skills in a Pizzatron 3000 tournament! Just like a great pizza, the final Pizzatron tournament of the Summer Olympics, Operation: Fresh From The Oven, was here and gone in the blink of an eye. Adorned in our team uniforms for the very last game, the Rebels cooked up some hot tactics and formations at the pizza parlor on CPJ – Sleet.
