Rebels Before Time

The Rebels are travelling back 165 million years in time! The Party Planning Committee has been busy organizing an exciting week-long party for us all to enjoy: Rebels Before Time. Until November 17th, the RPF server will be taken over with a prehistoric theme with a number of tasks for us to complete to earn an exclusive role – the Certified Paleontologist – alongside themed events, giveaways, and other fun activities. The party will come to a head with a dinosaur vs. caveman practice battle against the Water Vikings on Saturday! Discover more about the party, the fossil community tasks, and individual bingo tasks on the announcement post

One bingo task in particular requires entering the Create Your Own Dinosaur contest, created by our very own RNM Contest Team! The winner will receive the esteemed Dino Designer role to represent their creative skills. Take a look at the contest post to learn more!

The Journey Continues

Last week’s top story was the eagerly anticipated return of CP Journey events – much to the excitement of many Rebels. Wednesday’s EU offering saw the community gather for a successful quest event, in which we united to celebrate the latest CP Journey party – The Halloween Party. The event saw a size peak of 42, with participants coming together to not only enjoy the festivities but also to assist fellow Rebels and CPJ players in completing the party’s community quests. As the event came to an end, 15 privates were immediately promoted for participating! We can expect many more CP Journey events to come, as the Rebels are back and here to stay!

Lehky’s Leap into the Spotlight

Join us in raising your Black Electric Guitars as we cheers to our 331st Troop of the Week, Specialist Lehky. Since he arrived in mid-October, Lehky has quickly become a familiar and much-loved presence in our Discord. Whether attending events, engaging with others in conversations, or simply being a positive force within the community, Lehky embodies the true spirit of a Rebel. He continues to bring an infectious energy and fun atmosphere, so there is much excitement surrounding what the future holds for him.

In conclusion of this week’s news, the Club Penguin News Team has created a helpful hidden item guide for CPLegacy’s November Penguin Style! Be sure to check it out and get all the cozy clothes and items.

Halloween Party wrap up!

On October 27th, both CPJourney and CPLegacy launched their exciting Halloween Party that would end less than two weeks later. Out of the astounding 2,207 messages sent in the stamp help channel, there were 31 pings for Stamp Helper assistance in group quests! There was one quest, however, that was quite the topic of discussion

With a Gary the Gadget Guy meet and greet necessary on both servers, the tireless search for the mascot began. Throughout our Discord, “Gary” was mentioned an astounding 769 times! Let’s break down the channels:

Stamp Help11

Welcome Room155

Main Chat603

In those same channels, “mascot tracker” was said 302 times! With the hard work from staff, our Discord successfully tracked Gary through a total of 198 rooms. Talk about an event to remember!

Did someone say Awooga?

Speaking of events, during the Autumn Tundra Clash while the rebels dominated the Secret Service, RPF Advisor F6 created an infamous catchphrase that took over the Discord. For Tuesday’s Operation: Awooga, it made its glorious return once again. Awooga” was said a total of 297 times in the main chat in just one day! Talk about an awooga!

How did everyone do on last issue’s Spot the Difference?

Issue #237 featured a Spot the Differences challenge to celebrate the Club Penguin Halloween Party. Out of 24 submissions for at least 9/10 differences found, 6 people found all 10 differences. For those who found all but one difference, let’s look at the most commonly missed ones

1 person missed the pumpkin’s stem

2 people missed the bottom rung of the ladder

3 people missed the penguin’s button crease

11 people missed the leaf behind the ladder

With fall leaf-ing us soon, we thought it would be fun to dress up in our cosy jackets, gloves, and hats to mark the end of the season with our Operation: Fall Farewell. We logged onto CPABTuxedo to pay tribute to this chilly season as we prepare to enter an even chillier winter. We sipped our warm EC coffees and threw some EF flowers to mark the fall of… well, fall. Nobody lost and nobody feared during Operation: Back in Black Belts. Suggested by our very own Captain Percefal, we got in our karate gi’s and headed to the Dojo in our capital, Tuxedo, on CPAB. We saw both Sensei and Senslay, while impressively managing not to scare the fishes practicing our forms and tactics. To see us spill the karatea, click the link below!
