Winter Olympics: Blast Off!

Full of enthusiasm and team spirit, competitive Rebels have geared up in their respective uniforms for the highly anticipated 2025 Winter Olympics! Running from January 5th to the 12th, three Pokémon themed teams have been battling head-to-head through various mini-game tournaments on CPJourney. With the Olympics currently ongoing, teams Nemui, Shinka, and Denki have been fighting to win the most gold medals by the end of the week and to prove themselves as the ultimate champion! Participants have also been working towards the Rebel Olympian role, and one outstanding star from each team will be crowned with the Team MVP trophy! With the competition rising, let’s finish the games off strong!

Link3000 Inducted as Army Legend

Our beloved Rebel Commander, Link3000, has cemented their place in history this past week. On January 4th, it was announced that they had earned the prestigious title of Army Legend within the community, following the final round of voting in this year’s Legends Inductions.

Alongside being a Community Nominee Winner, Link’s induction was sealed with a 12-7 vote in favour, reflecting the profound impact they’ve had on both the RPF and the wider community. This honour celebrates Links’ unwavering dedication, remarkable achievements, and lasting contributions that have shaped the RPF’s legacy. Now forever carved into the heart of this community, Link’s journey will continue to inspire all those who follow in their footsteps.

Meryu Kicks Off 2025 as Troop of the Week #319!

Black Electric Guitars raised to Meryu for earning the title of Troop of the Week #319! Since joining RPF in November, she’s shown that she’s always ready to lend a hand, and her stellar attendance record and boundless enthusiasm for events set the perfect tone as our first TOTW of the year. Currently a Lieutenant, we’re excited to watch Meryu climb the ranks further during her time here!

How did we do at our quest and igloo raid combination event?

For Operation: Questing at my Iggy, the rebels got together to complete last-minute quests for the soon-ending CPJ Holiday Party. We completed 7 quests as a group, and then later some people played Mancala as well for the mancala quest. Additionally, we raided 16 igloos of those in our server, followed by a handful of other random igloos in order to complete the igloo-specific quests! 7 recruits attended this event to be promoted afterwards!!

How many times was “Olympics” mentioned in main chat in the week leading up to the games?

In the week before Opening Ceremony, “Olympics” was mentioned in #main-chat 116 times! Furthermore, 50 of those messages were before Olympics was even officially announced! Everyone was evidently hyped and excited for this fun week!!

Operation: Questing at my Iggy was an adventurous event, exploring many unique penguin homes to achieve the holiday party quests and stamps.
