2025 Winter Olympics Concluded
This past week, we saw unparalleled endurance and passion throughout the server for the 2025 Winter Olympics! Teams Nemui, Shinka, and Denki competed in five days of mini-game competitions, committed to be the victor of the most medals. They celebrated the completion of the games at the bi-annual Closing Ceremony, where it was announced that Team Nemui was the ultimate Olympic champion! Emulating the true spirit of what defines a teammate, Colonel Pemjah, Major Meryu, and Sergeant Riczax have been awarded with the Team MVP trophies for their gallant efforts and forthright positivity! Congratulations, and thank you all for your hard work! We also want to extend our appreciation to the HCOM, whose remarkable efforts made these games possible.
Fabrima’s Fantastic Dedication
There has been much to celebrate this week! So without further ado, we are proud to announce the #320 Troop of the Week – Major Fabrima! Joining at the end of May, she has been an active member in our server throughout many parties, tournaments, and events. Whether it’s her contagious enthusiasm, offering a helping hand, or simply being a friendly face in chat – Fabrima has truly stepped into the spotlight and has solidified her place as a valuable Rebel! Be sure to congratulate her in chat for this felicitous achievement!
Troop Talk and Art
The Rebel Broadcast Team is back with a brand new Troop Interview column! For this unique edition, selected staff and troops reflected fondly on the past year and chatted about their most cherished moments! As part of her giveaway prize, Colonel Megloveniall also interviewed a few members on their favorite Club Penguin memories.
We also saw vast creativity from the Rebels in the release of the 60th edition Art Column, showcasing December’s theme “Holiday Spirit“! To participate in January’s theme “Sports“, create any art piece using your favorite medium, and then submit into the #art channel using the #rpfacsports tag!

How many people participated in this year’s Winter Olympics?
New and returning troops were welcome to join our Olympics festivities throughout the week, and by the week’s end there were exactly 59 people assigned to each team, for a total of 177! However, only 118 of those members attended at least 1 Olympics event, whether it was a game event or ceremony. That’s still quite a large number, and we were so happy to see so many participants!!
How many messages were sent in each Olympic team channel?
Our 3 teams spent much of Olympics week hyping, strategizing, and coordinating in their team chats!! So just how many messages were sent in each? Let’s see…

How many messages were sent in #events throughout the week?
With so many events during our Olympics week, 118 messages were sent in #events! Out of those messages, 49 of them were used to ping the Game Event Ping role.
How many medals were won throughout the course of the week?
A total of 116 shiny medals were won throughout the course of the week! 80 of those were earned on the Pizzatron tourney day alone. Let’s break down how many of each medal was won during Pizzatron 3000:

How many people earned the Rebel Olympian role?
51 rebels earned the Rebel Olympian role by attending at least 1 ceremony and at least 5 game events throughout our Olympics week! They have since been donning the golden yellow in our server!

RPF’s bi-annual Olympics have officially arrived, this time with the adorable theme of Pokémon! The only way to start off this highly anticipated event is with the Opening Ceremony, so that’s what we did! Operation: Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony 2025 saw us all log onto CPAB – Tuxedo in our Team Uniforms, performing many pika-cute tactics as a group, before entering the arena and having a three–way battle between the teams! Backflip, side spin, corner grind, repeat! With the Olympics upon us and the Opening Ceremony over, it was time for the first game tournament! Operation: The Grind Never Stops saw the rebels logging into CPJ – Sleet repping their teams, for a Cart Surfer tournament! We performed many mine-d blowing tactics and surfed our carts into radical formations before getting our game faces on and taking to the mines! Surfs up! Well, Cart Surfer style! For the second tournament of the day, the three teams logged onto CPJ – Blizzard for Operation: Sweeeeerve. Before the competition began, they grouped up to perform their epic formations, and enthusiastically backflipped through their tactics. Day 1 of RPF’s Winter Olympic tournaments ended with a bang as all three teams logged on to CPJ – Blizzard at the Mine Shack for one last joyride. Day 2 of the Winter Olympic games has officially commenced! Adding a ninja belt to their respective uniforms, competitors logged onto CPJ – Blizzard for Operation: Pokemon Card Duel, an intense and beloved Card-Jitsu tournament that swept through the Dojo! “HIYAAA!!” the Rebels said while fiercely competing against other Olympic teams. We logged onto CPJ – Blizzard as we had our second Card Jitsu tournament of the day in Operation: Elements and Evolutions. First, we did some stealthy tactics and formations in our Olympic uniforms, then we had our tournament on Frozen and Sleet. We continued to dominate in the dojo and saw tons of Rebel ninjas compete for special medals. Everyone put up an amazing performance, but as there’s only three medals, this competition was a tough one for all. They say you should only drink so much coffee, but that didn’t stop us from having three whole bean counters tournaments in one day! For our third and final Bean Counters tournament, the Rebels logged on to CPJ – Sleet for Operation: St-eevee-a In Your Coffee? to make a fresh brew of tactics and clean up our formations that may have spilled over during the day. After a full day of counting beans, and likely still hopped up on coffee, the Rebels were certainly ready to bounce and hop around. This is exactly what was planned for the day filled with Hydro Hopper tournaments and tactics! First, the Rebels bounced on over to CPJ – Frozen, and started Operation: Let’s Hop To It! with some life-saving tactics, imagining our opponents’ formations and dodging them to maintain an advantage. After floating easily through our tactics, we hopped into action for far less casual floating with a Hydro Hopper tournament. This is the first time in over a year that Hydro Hopper has been a part of the Olympics, so be sure to check out the post below to see the results!

In Operation: Hippity Hoppity, This is Now my Property, we had our second Hydro Hopper tournament of the day as we went “HIPPITY HOP HOP!” in the water with our buoys. We logged onto CPJ – Sleet with our iconic team uniforms, and did some hop-tastic forms and tactics on the island. After that, we had our tournament, which was very competitive as we saw tons of people practicing and participating. For Operation: Hop The Good Hop, we logged onto CPJ – Sleet for the last Hydro Hopper tournament of the day. First we warmed up with some aquatic tactics while hopping into wavy forms, then we headed to the water! As the Olympics week comes to a close, the Rebels took to the Pizza Parlor on CPJ – Blizzard to take part in the first Pizzatron tournament of the final day. In our second event of the final game day, we made our way back to the Pizza Parlor on CPJ – Sleet for more cheesy tactics, saucy skills, and crusty forms. In Operation: Pikachu, More Like Pizza-chew, the Rebels donned their chef hats and aprons and got to work making pizzas for the island in Pizzatron 3000, whilst also trying to score some medals on the side.
