Operation: Centurion Announced!

The Rebel Penguin Federation was first founded in 2007, and in just a few short yet action-packed months, will be celebrating 18 spectacular years! In honor of this highly anticipated milestone, HCOM has announced a monumental project for the anniversary – Operation: Centurion! Counting down the 100 days until the Closing Ceremony on May 10th, there will be a new event hosted every day. Yes, you heard that right – 100 events in 100 days! Thinking of an event you’d like to see? Now’s the time! You can submit an event idea that will be added to the Weekly Spin-the-Wheel raffle! Keep in mind, you can only submit once.

But what’s an anniversary without a party? Throughout the operation, the Party Planning Committee will be back in full force, taking over the server once a month with a new announcement. So, put your party hats on, Rebels, because the PPC festivities will soon begin

By attending Operation: Centurion events, participating in PPC party tasks, and completing Tuxedo Times’ very own Challenge of the Week puzzles, you will earn tickets that can then be traded in at the Prize Booth! On top of that, the 25th, 50th, 75th, and 100th events will each have their own giveaways that anyone who attends will be able to participate in!

That’s not all… Alongside the massive party announcement, there’s more major updates to celebrate! Included in the Operation: Centurion post, HCOM has declared the official return of some beloved RPF activities, a massive change in weekly events, server currency, and more. 2025 will be the year of the Rebels!

Cheer for PutJokeHere!

With his clever wit, team camaraderie, and undeniable dedication, Lieutenant PutJokeHere rapidly exceeded all expectations, and has been crowned as the 322nd Troop of the Week! Joining just a month ago, PutJokeHere has become a spectacular star member within our community, bringing both contagious humor and positivity to the server. Whether he’s lending a helping hand to friends, hyping up events, or simply being a friendly face, PutJokeHere is well deserving of this exclusive award! If you see him in chat, be sure to congratulate him on a job well done!

Catching up with Lanie

For this edition of Vet Spotlight, the Rebel Broadcast Team sat down with former Third in Command, Lanie! Reminiscing on her remarkable journey as a Rebel, Lanie discussed personal challenges she overcame when first joining the server, and inspirations that contributed to her success. We also saw the brilliant achievements she accomplished as she quickly climbed the ranks to HCOM. Although Lanie has graduated from staff, her RPF impact remains!

We came to dig dig dig dig in Operation: Rebels In The Rough. Opting for a lack of sunlight for this event, we put on our safety vests and hard hats and got to work down in the mines of Blizzard CPJ. Some might say this could have been a way for us to express our Minecraft fantasies we could never live out, but who knows. If you want to see some Minecraft tactics, some drilling puns, and a post you will definitely dig, click the link below!

The Rebels sure are feeling fruity – seeing everyone in their sweet fruit costumes was the cherry on top of a great event! Operation: Fruity Rebels truly had us going bananas. We logged onto CPAB – Tuxedo to meet at the Cove, and performed our berry tasty tactics in fruitful formations! We hope everyone had a grape time and gave it their zest. Once upon a time, in a land not too far from here, fairies roamed. This land was known as Sleet – CPJ, where fairy gatherings were held, like this one I share a tale of today, the tale of Operation: Faith, Trust and Rebel Dust! The Rebel Fairies fluttered around the land in their Tinkerbell costumes performing many magical tactics and creating neat formations from thin air! Be sure to find out more about this fantastical event below!

Did you know that penguins can actually fly? Well, that’s not exactly true, but this event saw the Rebels wear wings as they “flew” around the island! In Operation: Looking for Wings, the Rebels logged onto CPJ – Sleet with their aviator goggles and wings, and took flight with their “plane awesome” tactics and formations. After the tactics portion, we had a Hide and Seek event with Troops vs HCOM! With their wonderful wings, the Troops were able to find some amazing hiding places, which made it harder for the seekers to find them. Was HCOM able to find all the troops before time ran out? Click the post below to see which side won, and to see more about this event!
