Have you ever seen someone with a purple name in chat and wondered who they are? Every RPF Veteran has a story, and this is the sixteenth edition of the Vet Spotlight column, where we take you back in time to tell the story of our esteemed veterans! Today, we’re telling you the story of our veteran, Roogy.
Roogy first joined Rebel Penguin Federation in the winter of 2016 she while playing Club Penguin she came across a unique group of penguins in Town. Instead of being recruited directly; she Googled the group, and thus became a new member.
New Experiences
With being so new to Club Penguin and joining such a large and unique group as RPF how did it impact your gaming experience?
Roogy said it affected her playing the game in a positive way, because she now had a reason to connect with a community since she didn’t have much nostalgic attachments to the game.
Troop Days and Rank Goals
When first joining she was very excited to attend events whenever she could. Her dad even not only allowed her to stay up late to attend EU, but also attended with her. For Rank Goals she always wanted to reach Staff and over a year later she achieved it.

Roogy was TOTW #15
She received the amazing hot pink role in late 2017
Officer Cadet
On October 30th, 2023 she received the lovely rank of Officer Cadet during that time she learned alot and had many fun experiences with her fellow Cadets, her mentor was General Moonlemur.
Officer
On December 4th, 2023 she received the rank of Brigadier General under the mentorship of Third in Command, Ella.
To compare her Troop Days from Officer there was alot more to do and she was excited to give back to her beloved community.
From there Roogy continued forward on her journey climbing through until landing on Lieutenant General or “Best Rank” as it’s called which she received on October 28th, 2024.
Retirement
On February 26th, 2025 Roogy departed from the Ranks proudly earning the role of RPF Veteran
Final Thoughts
Upon being asked if she has any advice to pass onto the new Troops she stated-

Roogy’s birthday is Friday the 13th.
She enjoys playing other games, reading, drawing, designing and spending time with her family.
