Have you ever seen someone with a purple name in chat and wondered who they are? Every RPF Veteran has a story, and this is the twenty second edition of the Vet Spotlight column, where we take you back in time to tell the story of our esteemed veterans! Today, we’re telling you the story of our veteran, Tulip.
Tulip first joined RPF on the 24th of February, 2024 after looking up the Rebel Penguin Federation’s mascot tracker. She attended her first event this same day, earning Tulip her first ever promotion to RPF Private. This was also during Rebel Commander Elexonck’s retirement event, leading Tulip to be nicknamed Elex 2.0 for a short period of time.

Only 3 weeks later and just before the March Madness 2024 Semis, Tulip was awarded Troop of the Week #291 at the rank of Specialist for her activity and event attendance, giving her the iconic pink role. After quickly climbing the troop ranks, Tulip applied for Staff and received Officer Cadet in April.
Tulip receives Lieutenant General on August 12th, 2024.
Throughout her time as Staff, she was mentored by Generals such as Steax and Litty, Five months after her promotion from Cadet to Officer, Tulip reached the rank of Lieutenant General on August 12th, 2024. As Staff, she’d host a number of fun activities for the community during server breakdays, including karaoke nights and various Club Penguin tournaments.
During her Staff era, Tulip enjoyed writing different posts and getting involved in a range of Staff teams, such as Tuxedo Times, Rebel Broadcasting Team and Rebel Records. Notably, Tulip helped Rebel Records make a return in RPF for Operation Centurion, an 100 day Operation with an event held every day. When asked about her experience on the Rebel Records team, she said: “I remember hosting a rebel records and that was SCARY because im a very anxious and unconfident person for no reason ngl LOLLLL but it was awesome to help with rebel records, I also loved the little trivia and games one too”

There were several Olympic teams Tulip was a part of, including Team Spotlight and Team Nayru, with her most recently representing Team Glacies in the 2026 Winter Olympics, earning a gold medal. However, her favourite Olympics was the High School Musical Olympics of Summer 2024 as it was her first.
Tulip also supported other Rebel Federation servers during this era, helping out the Roblox Division with events as well as being an active participant in the Rebel Music division.
Tulip retired from Officer in August 2025 after just over a year of work in the Staff team. Tulip says that while she wishes her Staff journey was better, having struggled with inactivity at some points, she was happy to receive RPF Veteran and to have a purple name in chat. When asked for advice for future Staff members, she said:
As an RPF Veteran, Tulip enjoys the reduced pressure from not having to do Staff activities and jobs. She can now be found frequently as a friendly face in #main-chat (having just over 144,000 messages there as of January 2026) or hanging out in the VC channels. Tulip notes her time participating in VC and doing karaoke as some of her RPF highlights.
