Have you ever seen someone with a purple name in chat and wondered who they are? Every RPF Veteran has a story, and this is the third edition of the Vet Spotlight column, where we take you back in time to tell the story of our esteemed veterans! Today, we’re telling you the story of the rebel who, out of our frequently active members, has been here the longest: Wheels.
Wheels, formerly known as Sean Paul08, is an RPF Rebel, and was a dedicated troop achieving up to the rank of Warlord (the Third in Command of the time).

His story began nearly 10 years ago, when he was recruited in December 2012 by RPF Legend Twitchy543, who at the time had recently joined the army himself. Wheels had originally quit Club Penguin in 2009, but returned in 2012 during that winter’s Operation: Blackout party.
When he first joined, Wheels was surprised and impressed with how organized things were, and he recalled thinking, “Woah, didn’t know CP Armies were this serious!“. He described himself to be obnoxious during his first week, but took a sudden U-turn and started acting more mature.
Twitchy recommending Wheels for Soldier of the Week (the TOTW of the time) in the third edition of The Shad Bulletin on June 11, 2013. However, the next edition never occurred.
Wheels went on to experience the Legends Cup IV and Christmas Chaos III tournaments later that year, during Generation XVI. RPF faced both the Doritos of Club Penguin and the Nachos in a three-way LCIV finals battle, and then the Dark Warriors in the CCIII finals.

As a General, he attempted to establish an armoured tank unit, with himself as the Tank Commander. It caught on, and some troops would wear the outfit to battles, but it was never officially adopted as a branch.

Wheels’ fondest RPF memory was in February 2014, at 3:00am for him, during AUSIA hours. He was chatting in the RPF Xat (the army’s chat before Discord) with RPF Legend Silverburg, when he found out his second niece was born!

After graduating high school in 2015, Wheels temporarily lost access to his home computer, and was cut off from RPF as a result. In fact, he never got the opportunity to officially retire, and regrettably dissappeared without a trace. He was able to regain access in May 2017, found the RPF Discord, and created a Discord account.
Ultimately, he only rejoined the server on June 27, 2020, during a trip to Colorado. Some older members recognized the name Sean Paul08, and he was welcomed back as an RPF Veteran. He changed his username to Wheels, as he felt more comfortable being himself with this username.
Soon after rejoining the server, he was awarded RPF Rebel in July 2020. He earned his place in the Hall of Fame for his service as a Warlord, and his sheer dedication to the army. He recounted being online for several hours a day in chat and at events, over the course of a couple years.
That wraps up Wheels’ nearly 10 year story in RPF. Despite his decision to remain retired, you can still expect to see him around in chat!
