Welcome to the forty-second edition of the Art Column, where our reporters (currently Anya, Cracked, Emerald, Sharki, and Yvng) see and critique pieces in the #art channel and choose which to feature from members of the Rebel Penguin Federation.

By definition, “art” can be best described as…

“…the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.”

Due to this, the Art Column’s purpose is to promote all types of art. This includes whether it’s digital or physical, something you can hear or something you can see, and even if it’s RPF related or not. However, please do also keep in mind due so many members in our group, not everyone will get recognized each week. Nonetheless, we hope you enjoy our weekly gallery and keep creating!

“I’ve been recently obsessed with deltarune with the release of chapter two, and I just wanted to do a quick doodle of one of my favorite characters!”

“Its a school piece that i made using value as a means of imitating depth. The things that are meant to be further away are more grey in colour. For the project we had to have 3 of the same object in different grounds (background, middleground, foreground) so i decided to use birds (my go-to when i cant think of anything else ahha)”

This week’s Theme of the Week was Family and Friends!

“Puffle Wilderness Resort” by Crow, RPF Colonel

“I decided to make a lil puffle themed resort as I wanted to make use of the new puffle cabins, I always try to make a cute little igloo but I think this is the only one that I’ve made that looks cute and has a good theme lol. There are several puffle cabins and homes, some in trees as well! There are some cute sitting areas as well as a puffle O table. I added lots of plants to match the wild camping type theme. Also the front part is like a small reception with stone paths leading to the different sides of the resort!”

“Trying the faceless drawing style- kind of haha.. Randomly decide to draw a thing of my friends cause I was inspired (which comes very rarely nowadays )”
