DAY IN THE LIFE – 15TH EDITION

Heya Rebels! We are back for the Fifteenth Edition of the Day In The Life column! For this edition, we’ll be interviewing a recent Troop of The Week and an RPF Officer! With the recent TOTW’s works to earn Troop of The Week and with this RPF Officer’s daily works in the mod team, let’s take a look and see what they do in their day-to-day lives outside of RPF!

Mad Dawg

A day in the life of Mads, huh?
Alright let’s get intoooo it.
So first, I usually wake up around 7-8 am or so, unless it’s an Ausia event which I’ll usually try to wake up around 5:45 for. I make my bed (ALWAYS), chug my little protein drink, and head to the gym! I do my cardio for about an hour, and head home. I usually have a few hours before I head for work around 2 pm, so after breakfast I’ll make my daily iced coffee (a very big one), play my ukulele maybe, write some more on my poetry book, chat with RPF friends, and maybe get some Minecraft in (my current obsession). I’m also in online school for my doctorate so at any various point, I’ll also be doing ridiculous amounts of homework for that.
I am a nanny for AMAZING 7 year old twins, so I pick them up from school, sometimes grab them a lil treat (don’t tell their mom and dad), and head to their house. I’m usually there about 4 hours, and during that time I make their afternoon snack, help with their homework, make forts, play board games, and keep them in line (easier said than done). After work, I head back to the gym to do my strength and weight training, and get back home. My evenings I keep pretty simple! I make my roommate and I dinner (I LOVE cooking), light our 4869649 candles, hang with my kitty Lily, play some more Minecraft, do RPF things, write in my journal, shower, and do my hair and skin care routine! Most of my days go just like this, but on the weekends I like to go out with friends and play some darts or pool and dance the night away, and I also volunteer at a retirement home sometimes! Anyways, I feel like now most of you know me more than half my friends, so congrats on that!

Chonono

Well, my schedule is pretty consistent most of the time, regardless of the day! I recently got out of high school, so my weeks mostly consist of lazying around or going outside with my family. I live pretty far away from my friends, so whenever we can’t hang out IRL we just talk in voice chats and play video games together. I often stay up very late with them, so I end up attending only EU and US most of the time. Outside of friend related manners, my family owns 6 dogs! Sounds insane? It pretty much is! We take care of basically any stray that keeps showing up at our doorstep and it’s a constant challenge, but they’re really cute, so it doesn’t matter. Whenever I have time, I also like to work on personal projects of mine, which mostly consist of hopping between unfinished games I’ve been working on, and trying to mod preexisting ones to make really dumb jokes (which are really funny I promise). If not that, then I just play old videogames (this was what got me back to Club Penguin!). Of course, I keep an eye out near the EU and US hours for any event pings, and until now it thankfully has not been too hard to keep consistently showing up for the events! Hopefully when I start university, I can keep it up.

Thank you for taking the time to read this edition of Day In The Life! And a huge thank you to Mads and Chonono for allowing us to interview you and giving us a little insight on your daily routines! Congrats to Chonono on their recent promotion and recent achievement of Troop of The Week, and a big thank you to Mads for all of her work as an RPF Officer! We appreciate you both and are looking forward to seeing what accomplishments you both have in the future! Hope you enjoyed today’s edition, and we’ll see you next time!
