Heyy rebels! We are back with another edition of Pet Column, where Art, Citrus, Ella, Gwen, Miggy, Morgan, And Patty show off the cutest pets (all of them) of RPF! Rissa
Name: Margot
Age: 10 in may
Breed: Not sure
Favorite Snack: French Fries
Gwen: How did you come u with the name? any special meaning behind it?
Rissa: I originally went to the cat cafe looking for a cat i could name “spatula,” but then i fell in love with margot. her name from the cafe was originally jazzy belle, but her personality was giving old lady, so she’s halfway named after margo from despicable me (except i changed the spelling margot lives for the tea).
Gwen: What is one of your favorite memories with margot?
Rissa: My cousin’s very badly behaved corgi was visiting (shoutout dakota, we love him despite his flaws), and i was originally worried he’d bully margot and she would be terrified of him. the opposite wound up happening 😭 margot started stalking him and chasing him and genuinely scared the poop out of him lol. (don’t worry, he was well taken care of after his trauma.) i support margot in all her activities, right and wrong.
Gwen: If you could travel anywhere with your pet, where would you go?
Rissa: oh that’s a hard one! I’d probably bring to visit her original owner’s house and remember how safe she felt there. or maybe take her to New York to be a city girl.
Gwen: Does margot have any special spots she likes to go?
Rissa: Margot’s really great at using every single bed she has (she has a lot), but her favorite spot is underneath a blanket. we have to religiously check any and all suspicious lumps to make sure they aren’t any secretly margot, and she had used to have a bed that she’d sometimes crawl under and use as a blanket. she’s also been known to try to crawl inside of baggy clothing LOL.

Age: 32
Breed: Macaw
Favorite Snack: Peanuts or Tortilla Chips
Art: How did you adopt him?
FallenRaven: Unfortunately someone we knew had a decline in health and couldn’t keep him, so we took him in since we gave animal rescue experience
Art: What’s your Favorite Activity to do together?
FallenRaven: Honestly, i love singing with him! He likes to sing along and he does a little dance. His favorite song is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, he really gets into it. We can be super silly with it and it always makes me laugh!
Art: What’s Gus’s personality like?
FallenRaven: He’s typically an outgoing bird who lovess to hang out on your shoulder/arm. He likes to play games, like peek-a-boo and he’s a great nest builder! He really just wants to be by your side and experience life with you. He also loves to sit at the table and enjoy breakfast, or watch a movie in my room. Although, he did come with a tad bit of a potty mouth so he can have his moments when he’d rather sit on his cage and he’ll tell you 🤣
Art: If he could have a Magical Ability/Superpower what would it be?
FallenRaven: i read this and just pictured him with a wizard hat 🤣 i think he would choose invisibility! He already knows how to talk and fly, but he loves peek-a-boo and playing games, so i think he would use it to hide around the house and surprise us! A close second choice would be the ability to get through our doors haha.

Breed: Not sure if she’s a mix but she has some ragdoll in her
Favorite Snack: Undecided
Morgan: How did you come up with the name Aspen?
Cupcake: I’m a big nature fan (my job is literally working in the woods) so i based my all my pets names off of trees 😅
Morgan: How did you get aspen?
Cupcake: A family friend was moving away and couldn’t bring their 10 week old kitten so i offered to adopt her and have had her ever since!
Morgan: Does aspen have any favourite toys?
Cupcake: She’s not much of a toy girl but the one thing that will get her running around the apartment is a bumblebee toy attached to a wire. she will do flips in the air for it and drag it around the house 😂
Morgan: If you could travel to any fictional place with aspen, where would you go to and why?
Cupcake: that’s a tough question. i don’t know if this counts, but i recently started playing Stardew Valley and i think it would be a dream to bring aspen along and catch some fish and explore the town.
