Meet Specialist Nova Jo’s Cat!
Name: Haze
Age: 6 on 4/20/24
Breed: Short-haired gray tabby!
Favorite Food: Grilled chicken, every time i cook it, he is crawling all over me meowing and begging for it.
Our new Pet Columnist, Omniz, interviewed Name to talk about their lovely cat name! Let’s see what they had to say:
Omniz: How did you get haze?
Nova: I’ve had family cats my entire life and one day i realized it was time for one of my own so i went to a local pet rescue & i found him asleep in his litter box LOL he’s been silly since day one so i just knew he was meant for me.
Omniz: If you could travel anywhere with haze where would it be?
Nova: I would love for us to have our very own Aristocats moment and stroll the sheets of paris together.
Omniz: Where did the name haze come from?
Nova: It comes from his smoky gray coat and his cutie little stripes, it just instantly reminded me of hazy puffs of smoke, Lots of people thought it was because of “purple haze” which i also don’t mind.
Meet Brigadier General Roogy’s Cat!
Name: Maple
Age: 1 year and 10 months
Breed: Persian
Favorite Food: Squeeze treats

Ella: What would you dress up maple as for halloween?
Roogy: An angel bc she’s my very own little angel
Ella: What’s your favorite memory with maple?
Roogy: Probably just when we first adopted her and she slept right by my bed on my nightstand the very first night
Ella: If you could talk to maple would you and if so what would you say?
Roogy: Oh my gosh yeah i’d let her know how much she means to me and how much she has brightened my life ever since she’s become a part of it
Meet Specialist Beetle’s Cat!
Ella: Where did the name plankton come from?
Beetle: I wish I knew, we adopted him from another family and unfortunately didn’t get an origin story but I like to think it’s bc he’s so little
Ella: What’s a fun trait plankton has?
Beetle: i think one of my favorite traits about him is that he finds his way everywhere, i’ll be doing something and turn around to see him sitting on a shelf or hiding in a box, i can never tell where i’ll find him next
Ella: What’s your favorite memory with plankton?
Beetle: my favorite memory is probably when i was teaching him to walk with a leash and harness, he absolutely hated it (and still does) and decided the best way to avoid it was to flop down and not move an inch, i had to use a LOT of treats to get him used to it all
