Pet Column – Cinnamon, Duchess, Copper & Ember
Welcome to the second edition of the pet column, the Rebel Broadcast Team’s newest column! Every few weeks, Yodabobobo, Cracked, and Yas will meet the pets of RPF Members! Meet Major Bubbles’s Cats!
Name: Cinnamon
Age: 6 years old
Breed: Orange shorthair
Favorite Food: Pâté soft food in the can
Name: Duchess
Age: 1 year old
Breed: Grey tabby shorthair
Favorite Food: Pâté soft food
Our Pet Column Interviewer, Yas, asked Bubbles about her cats, Duchess and Cinnamon! What can she tell us about them?
Yas: How did you choose the names Duchess and Cinnamon?
Bubbles: For “Duchess,” my older sister came up with it! Duchess used to be her kitty when Duchess was first born and my older sister comes up with all kinds of names for cats so Duchess became her name. When i ended up taking Duchess I just kept the name because it is just a cute name and suits her well! Cinnamon, I got the name because i wanted to name her ‘Orange’ but my dad was like: ‘ok that’s kinda dumb to name your orange cat Orange’ LOL and I was like: ‘hey how about Cinnamon’ i thought it was a cute name and I was in 8th grade at the time so I guess spices made sense for a kitty name but it ended up just fitting well with who she is and being a cute name!
Yas: What is a fun trait which they have?
Bubbles: A fun trait that Duchess has is her curiosity. She is…… very crazy and any noise she investigates! Like when someone knocks on the door she’ll run so fast to see who it is or her curiosity sometimes gets her in hard situations lol or she ends up breaking stuff but that’s what makes her who she is! With Cinnamon her fun trait is her shyness. It may sound strange but her being shy makes her who she is. She just goes and hides everywhere and thinks you can’t see her and when you grab her she’s like “huh!?” and the way she will run away from people and hide is kinda silly! She’s the best cat ever though.
Yas: And finally, what is your favourite thing to do with your pets?
Bubbles: My favorite thing to do with my pets is just relax and play with them! I love when they are cuddling with me and I get to just pet them and sleep along with them or my other favorite thing is when I grab a can of soft food and tap it they will almost jump down the stairs to get their soft food lol. I think if I could take them places with me, then i would love to do EVERYTHING with them!
Meet Colonel Legacy’s Cats!
Names: Copper (left) Ember (right)
Age: 4
Breed: Orange tabby
Favorite Food: Copper will eat anything, and Ember’s favorite food is Popcorn
Another Pet Column interviewer, Yoda, was also able to have a nice chat with Legacy to learn more about her pets!
Yoda: How did you get your Copper and Ember?
Legacy: I got them as a Christmas present in 2017 when they were 9 months old. I have to say that they are the best gift I have ever received.
Yoda: What is your favorite memory or story with your two cats?
Legacy: A couple days after I first got them I found Copper half way up the Christmas tree. I also really enjoy watching them play fight and bond as brothers as they seem inseparable.
Yoda: If you could spend one day with just your pets, where would you go and what would you do?
Legacy: My cats hate car rides because they hate being put in their crates, but there is this coffee shop in my state where you can bring your cat with you to play with other cats while you can enjoy treats and coffee.
