Hey there Rebels! Welcome to Throwback Thursday, the latest installment part of Rebel Rewind, RBT’s History Column! Each week we will be diving into a moment in RPF History so that you get to learn more about the history of this prestigious RPF! Without further ado, let’s take a look at this week’s historical moment.
SEPTEMBER 2020
Rebel Spirit Week was planned by the Party Planning Committee which consisted of Milly, Brenatto, Penho, Redweeb, Crazzy, Moon, Elex, Rocket, Starship, Yammie, and Perry! They had a fun week full of themed activities and events in store. Headlining this week was the Rebel Broadway Day, where rebels could show off their talents in a voice chat. Held on Monday 7th September, this was a huge success with over 30 participants each showing off their skills! The overall winner was Strangeyef – who won the elusive Rebel Star role!
The week was also filled with a bunch of fun events relating to the theme of the day: for example on Disney day there was a Disney themed event where everyone dressed up as their favourite Disney characters!
As the week came to a close, there were 2 large events! The first was the Battle with the Ice Warriors in which the rebels managed to win maxing a huge 95 online!
The penultimate event was the Good Fight Gala where the Rebels managed to max 74! This had vibes playing in the voice chat as well as games such as Brenatto’s kahoot running. The top three winners from the talent show on Monday were also performing in the Voice Chat!
