The Hatter, as his name implies, is quite the eccentric. His character is inspired by the saying “mad as a hatter,” which refers to the erratic behavior of hat-makers suffering mercury poisoning. The Hatter never acts with sinister intentions, but his actions are difficult to understand. He recites unanswerable riddles and senseless poems as he parades around in his eternal state of tea-time.
What does this mean for you? As the life of the party, you’re always ready to entertain your friends! Perhaps you have some strange behaviors of your own — pouring your milk before your cereal? You monster! — but you prefer to think of them as expressions of your individuality. After all, the world would be so dull if everyone acted the same way, wouldn’t it?
