Strike Force Briefings: 4th Week of October

Hello Rebels!

It has been a long time since our last Strike Force Briefing, so allow me to catch you up on the recent happenings!  This briefing especially contains information about the short war against the Recon Federation of Club Penguin and the ensuing drama.  Read on for more information.

As you may know, the Rebel Penguin Federation Strike Force (RPFSF) is the RPF special forces division available to those of the rank Specialist and above.  Some information is classified for now, though more will be divulged over time.  While Strike Force itself has been training for the most part recently, a lot has been going on in the army community.

The war (initial declaration and reasoning can be found here) with the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP) has ended on the merits that they no longer have any servers.  Not because we invaded them all, but instead because they and all of their allies in the New Viking Alliance (NVA) transferred all of their servers to us in order to make a statement about how Club Penguin Armies are biased towards us and our allies, the Lime Green Army and the Army of Club Penguin.  We’ve since released most of the servers as freeland so any army can grow and claim land.  Pictured below are the servers after having been collectively transferred to RPF, followed immediately by our rejection of said servers.

The claim of Prior Bumble, the RFCP leader, is that by sitting out on the dynamics of the map and preventing the weekly Top Ten Armies list from having any contenders, he will prove that the community is nothing without his group, and that RPF are the villains, when in reality any freezing of CPA that happens comes of their own accord.  Screenshots suggest that even troops had no idea what was going on, forced into a decision by their collective leaders. When the leaders of several of the armies in CPA (NVA) decide not to participate, that decision is theirs and can be blamed on no one else. What’s especially ludicrous is his basis for the protest: that being allies with RPF wins you a war.  The Recon Federation has defeated the Lime Green Army more than once in a war, both alone and alongside the other armies of the NVA. Therefore, the fact that Prior feels they have the grounds to make this claim is unacceptable.

The situation began when RFCP came to me and my fellow RPF leader, Plane, asking for a delay in the invasions we’d scheduled as retaliation for the planned Operation: Pewter Hopscotch.  The basis presented to us was that soldiers would be tired after six invasions in one day. This was an understandable claim, six invasions in one day would be hard on any troops. In order to prevent that, we cancelled our invasions on RFCP, leaving only the preexisting ACP invasions.  At this point, talks were progressing fine. We agreed to stay out of the remainder of the war between them and the Army of Club Penguin before beginning our conflict with them, as long as RFCP would not use any members from allied armies in their battles. Despite the war being “no allies,” Club Penguin Armies rules state that up to five outside members are allowed to aid an army before it counts as using allied assistance.  RFCP had been using just enough troops from their allies, the Shock Troops, to not break this rule. We asked that RFCP not use these troops in exchange for cancelling the invasions. The request was denied, but talks were still open.

That was the case until Prior called in the Shock Troops and the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin, their two brother allies, to raid one of their defenses from the ACP.  ACP, catching wind of the plan, called in the RPF Strike Force and LGA to effectively raid the raiders. All of the raiding armies dressed up as different armies from original Club Penguin, and the first room was a lot of fun.  However, the raid eventually devolved into a load of very inappropriate jokes and racial slurs, which were then celebrated in RFCP chat.

Unhappy with this, we redeclared our invasions against RFCP, and talks between the two armies broke down.  Prior accused us of morally policing other armies, though in general it’s typically frowned upon to engage in such behavior.  Clearly, though, the admins of CPA agreed, as they’d handed out bans to the perpetrators.

The entire situation culminated in the same group hosting a five way practice battle on RPF’s capital server of Tuxedo in order to taunt us.  Again, this devolved into an inappropriate slugfest targeted at the few RPF members who were online to observe. Once the battle was over, the leaders of every army involved gave the entirety of their servers to the RPF to make this statement, which we quickly redistributed and/or dropped.

The war may have ended, but the choice of Prior and his allies to freeze the army league based off of a dislike of their judging shows behavior that is unbecoming. The morals of the entire story are: armies are for fun, don’t take them so seriously that you degrade others, always play fair, and don’t let anyone bully you into blaming yourself for their mess.  Take responsibility for your own actions.

That’s all for this Strike Force Briefing.  Stay tuned to the site for further information regarding the RPF Strike Force’s activity and that of the Club Penguin Armies league.  If you are of rank Specialist or above and wish to enlist in the Strike Force for invasions, defenses, and tournament battles, please message me on Discord.
