Troop Interviews – Ash, Milly, Link3000

Troop Interviews

This week marks the forty-eighth official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Rane, Cosmo, and Royal) ask two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked give us a better understanding of each soldier and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of soldiers here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it will be difficult to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!

The three interviewees for this week are Ash, MillyLink3000!

Ash

Welcome back everyone to another weekly episode of Troop Interviews. I am your host, Raneaosama! We have some exciting interviews this week with not only our Officer promotions and Troop of the Week, but also a special HCOM promo! So, get your popcorn ready, because we’re starting off with Royal’s interview with our newest Brigadier General, Ash!

Is that a Lin-Manuel Miranda lip bite emote I see? Royal, you’re fired.

How does it feel to be a moderator?

First question of Royal’s interview with Ash was about how she feels becoming a moderator. Besides the initial overwhelmed and nervous feelings, Ash said she ultimately feels comfortable and confident! Thanks to help from other staff, her worries were cleared up and she’s happy to be a part of the team.

What does Ash hope to achieve as a moderator?

Secondly, Royal asked Ash about her goals and what she hopes to achieve as a moderator. For now, Ash says she isn’t worried about moving in ranks at the moment. Her main goal as a moderator is to keep RPF a positive, fun, and safe environment for all. HAHA, SIKE! She actually does care about ranks. She really pranked you guys. Imagine caring about the community… what are we, helpful and kind or something?

Does Ash ever hope to reach HCOM someday?

On the topic of ranks and promotions, Royal’s next question for Ash was if she hoped to reach HCOM someday. Indeed, Ash hopes to find herself apart of HCOM one day as she doesn’t plan on leaving RPF anytime soon. Oh great, she’s here to stay. Also, she has been able to find a good balance between real life and RPF, a sort of hard skill to acquire! Along with Royal, don’t forget us when you’re famous and yellow!

What is Ash’s favorite food?

Lastly, Royal’s final question for Ash was what her favorite food is. Without a doubt, Ash replied with tacos! But, if you don’t know already, Ash is sort of a pro baker, so she also really likes cookies! Although that is a strange combination, tacos and cookies do sound really good. However, it’s also 1:30am that I’m currently writing this, so thanks for making me hungry at the worst time. I think I’ll have to settle for Cheez-It’s.

Ash’s final words were thanking all of HCOM and staff for believing in her and promoting her to moderator. She’s excited for the future and we’re excited to see what she’s got in store!

Did anyone else look at Ash’s cherry blossom emote in her name and have nostalgia over flowers? No, just me? Well, if you know, you know!

Anyways…

Milly

Not only did we have a new Officer promotion, but we also got a new HCOM promotion! In this interview, Cosmo has the pleasure of interviewing our newest Second in Command, Milly! They might not be Night and Plane, but these two are definitely an infamous AUSIA leading duo. Nevertheless, let’s see what this former yellow, now orange doggo has to say!

yooooooooooooooo

How does it feel to have become Second in Command?

Starting off, Cosmo’s first question for Milly was how she felt about becoming Second in Command. Contrary to feeling a bit weird at first, Milly said she’s vibing and appreciates the opportunity given to her. Although she didn’t think she would get to this point, she definitely deserves it with all the hard work she’s done with Olympics and our AUSIA division! Also, did anyone else read “me LIKEY!” as “El Mikey”? Moving on…

How different is Third in Command from Second in Command?

Next, Cosmo asked Milly how being Third in Command differentiates from Second in Command. In response, Milly said it’s not too different since all HCOM have the same general expectations, however it’s definitely a step up in terms of responsibilities and management at the same time. Alternatively, I would’ve just said the colors.

What does Milly hope to achieve as Second in Command?

When asked about any newfound goals, Milly told Cosmo she wants to keep boosting AUSIA and the Party Planning Committee to be the best they can be! With Milly’s expert dancing skills, specifically in the milly rock, I’m sure she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to! In New York, you should milly rock if you agree.

What is Milly’s favorite part about being HCOM?

Cosmo’s next question for Milly what her favorite part about being HCOM is. Milly replied saying how HCOM is able to make as many improvements as needed to make sure the community is content. She also mentioned how there is no better feeling than knowing people are having fun in RPF. ~Good and wholesome vibes only~

Does Milly hope to reach Rebel Commander?

Last but not least, Cosmo inquired if Milly ever hopes to earn Rebel Commander status one day. Is this a hint that our current Rebel Commander is interviewing a possible future Rebel Commander?

Anyhow, Milly thinks it would be cool to be Rebel Commander, but for now she’s just going with the flow and moving day by day. Either way, she is just vibing! I think the ultimate goal in life is for everyone to vibe like Milly. No one can vibe like she can!

In the end, Milly’s last words were to always attend AUSIA, keep positive vibing, and never forget to fight the good fight! Most importantly, drip.

Anyways…

Link3000

Saving the best for last, I had the fun opportunity to interview our 157th Troop of the Week, Link! Also, by saving the best for last, I totally meant me. I mean I guess maybe Link too. I don’t know, I’ll think about it. Anyways, here’s my interview with the person who now matches my Numbuh 5 profile picture hat!

The excitement is what matters!

How does it feel to become Troop of the Week?

My first question for Link was how she felt becoming our newest Troop of the Week. Link responded with surprised because she wasn’t expecting it at all. However, she feels proud, especially with the happy energy following TOTW announcements and congratulatory pings in main chat! Al bacio!

Adding on to Link’s reaction, I asked her how she didn’t expect Troop of the Week with all of the support she has from others. Agreeing that she definitely has supportive friends and lots of people do “__4totw” for their friends as well, there were just so many people who equally deserved the role in her opinion. Moreover, Link is honored to have been chosen for TOTW and hopes to do it justice!

What does Link hope to achieve as Troop of the Week?

As Troop of the Week, Link hopes to show everyone that they can reach any milestone in RPF! Furthermore, she wants to help troops & recruits get familiar easily within the server and just be a good help in general. Role models like Link can definitely get anywhere if they hope to be!

What does Link hope to achieve in RPF?

Now that Link has Troop of the Week under her belt, what else does she hope to achieve? In response to my question, Link replied saying for now she hopes to reach Colonel. Although she likes the idea of becoming staff one day, Link is taking it one step at a time. Organizing RPF and school can be pretty difficult! So for now, events and Hunger Games simulations will have to do.

What are some of Link’s favorite things/memories of RPF?

On the topic of fun activities in RPF such as the Hunger Games simulations, I asked Link what her favorite things or memories in RPF are. First, she said she loves main chat. Going with the majority, Link said how she was scared of main chat at first, but now she loves how alive and crazy it gets! Second, she mentioned that a favorite memory of hers was the Olympics. The teams, the events, the chaos, all of it was tons of fun for Link to enjoy! Lastly, Link also mentioned she likes the jokes and themed events… besides the hype. That’s understandable. Hype undoubtedly has to be the craziest time in main chat.

THIS IS REAL, THIS IS ME! Ahem, keep scrolling.

What are some fun facts about Link?

Some fun facts Link shared with me about herself is that she has 3 dogs, she plays piano, and is currently attending university to potentially become a veterinarian! Yeah, the three dogs definitely sound cooler. Just kidding! Good luck with the college grind!

Everyone is invited to the puppy play date. Please bring all of your puppers!

Link’s final words for the non pink people are to stay safe and well and learn how to spell! Haha, that rhymes.

Anyways…

Wait, that’s it.
