For this edition, we met with General Lehky, Major General Haleth, and Colonel Ricza.
Ricza
Starting off our interviews! we have Mollsr interviewing Colonel Ricza.
When did you first join RPF?
Ricza said she doesn’t remember the exact date but it was in December of 2024, she remembered that private club penguin servers existed and decided to make an account.
Do you have a favorite party from the OG club penguin?
Ricza responded with, Honestly i didn’t play the og one, i did know about the fact that it existed but i preferred other gamers at that time, transformice and moviestarplant for example. i saw the game being closed everywhere online and then joined rewritten which i played for some time through i didn’t make any friends or join any communities i was focused more on playing games and dressing up my character.
So it’s fair to say that RPF has been a big reason for you to continue playing club penguin these day?
Ricza replied with, Yes! most of the times when i’m playing it’s either when i’m meeting with my rebel friends or when i’m joining an event, but i still log on to play or to fress up from time to time , i perfer the company of rebels.
If you could go forward or backwards in time, which would you choose and why?
Ricza: “Honestly this is a tricky question, i would say none, there are moments i would like to relive and i would like to see how mt life would look like in the future yet i’m still perfectly content being right now writing my own story.”
Do you have any advice for aspiring TOTWs?
Ricza answered with, My different advises not only for future TOTW’s but also for new members is, just be yourself and be casual (as long as that yourself isn’t harmful to yourself and others) The issue i had first is that i was scared of people specifically higher ranks ( as i already was in a lot of similar communities ) but the people here are amazing are very friendly even though it seems like you’re out of the look at first you quickly get thrown into it and develop friendships and other things.
Such wise words ricza.
Thank you to ricza for letting us interview her 💛
Haleth
Next up Artistic23 interviewed one of our Lieutenant Generals haleth.
How long have you been apart of RPF?
Starting this interview Art asked Haleth how long she’s been apart of Rpf
Haleth: I joined just before Christmas, so five months! but she didn’t really start participating until halfway through the winter Olympics.
definitely the right time to get active seeing we just finished our summer ones 😌
What has been your favorite thing about RPF so far
Haleth: The community! So many people are so intentional with each other and that makes for such a lovely experience. i’m super impressed by leadership and everything they’ve done/are doing to crate a safe and positive space, and i’m so very grateful for the friends i’ve made! My life is genuinely better because of this community!
In what way has RPF improved your life?
Haleth said, I joined RPF during a very turbulent time in my life. i was tired and searching for connection beyond irl alone, especially over the holidays when everyone else was so busy. Besides that, i was getting sucked in to social media in a way that was becoming unhealthy and dragging down my mood.
RPF became a new, positive space, filled with likeminded people of all ages, who all happen to like this silly nostalgic penguin game. The group slowly replaced time i was spending in more negative headspaces and brought more positivity into my life.
Besides RPF what do you like to do for fun?
Art asked haleth, Besides RPF what does she like to do for fun?
Haleth says, she’s a huge nerd and into the performance arts, she still sing with my alma mater in the community chorus, i volunteer and act in my local community theater, and i hang out with friends, i have a girls group from my last play (we played in a Jane Austen-type production so we’re the Pemberley girls) so we go out and get dinner occasionally or watch movies. Another group which started from that play and has since grown to include others started a D&D campaign!
If you could travel anywhere where would you go?
Haleth: Excellent question, I had the pleasure to go to Iceland, Norway, and Sweden with my university for our junior program and i discovered i actually adore that whole area, especially Iceland! I’d go back in a heartbeat! for new places, I’d really love to go to india or visit places with friends that are meaningful to them/where they or their parents immigrated from, which would take me to Nigeria, Romania, and Brazil to start.
Thank you so much to Haleth for letting us interview her 💜
Lehky
And now last but not least, I, Ella interviewed one of our Generals Lehky
What’s your proudest accomplishment as a staff member?
Beginning this interview i asked lehky, What’s his proudest accomplishment as a staff member so far.
Lehky said, i think being an active staff member and getting to help out in ways with maintaining and growing the server is a bit of an accomplishment in itself. but specific instance off the top of my head – winning first place in the recruitathon sprint before MMX with the first recruit i got during the spring winning first place in the troop competition made me feel pretty proud. i love spreading the passion i have for RPF so doing it hand and hand with one of my recruits was very cool.
What’s been part of your best experience since joining rpf?
Lehky: for sure making new friends. i think while everyone joins for the penguins, most stick around for the community once they realize what a special place RPF truly is. it’s crazy to think that club penguin of all things could connect so many different people from all over the world but i genuinely have made some real and lasting connections here. i get excited every day to hop into chat and share that energy, and to meet new people and pass that same feeling along to them as well- winning 3 tournaments back to back is also pretty exciting.
Do you hope to reach HCOM status someday?
Lehky: Yeah, it’s definitely a goal of mine!
i’m sure everyone hope to see you get there 😇
What is one lesson that RPF has taught you?
Lehky: I think both being in and modding for RPF has really emphasized the importance of approaching every situation with empathy and adaptability. two situations can look very similar on a surface level, but may need to be approached completely differently. taking that extra step to deal with things/conversations/whatever it may be in a way that makes people feel understood and listened to is what helps keep such a diverse community strong, also that if you stay hype, you aint gotta get hype.
What type of events do you like the best?
Lehky replied with, Not counting big tournaments, i think the interactive events are so much fun. my first event ever was hide and seek so maybe that’s why i have a bit of a soft spot for them. but feel like there’s a lot of room to be really creative with them too and people love switching it up! like the murder mystery, psa code hide and seek, and white lie events all stick out in my mind from centurion as being a blast.
Bonus question: How did you come up with your username?
Bonus question for lehky was, How did you come up with his username.
Lehky said, I was always kind of bad at coming up with screen names so was thinking on what i should make it one day- i’m a big sports fan, and one of my favorites to watch is ice hockey which has a kind of culture of giving players nicknames… so i yoinked it from my favorite player, and now i can’t watch hockey without whipping my head around like they’re talking to me.
thank you lehky for letting us interview you! 🤎
