Rebels dig-deep into Prehistoric Party: Rebels Before Time

On November 10th, the Party Planning Committee officially announced ‘Rebels Before Time’ – a prehistoric party week that would be taking place from Monday 11th through to Sunday 17th. The RPF Discord server was made over with a thrilling prehistoric theme, with themed events and other interactive tasks taking place across the seven-day extravaganza.

One of the exciting party features was the Fossil Dig, which saw Rebels come together to uncover the skeleton of a dinosaur by completing community-based tasks. In fact, the Rebels dug so deep that all five of the original tasks were completed within two days, leading to a second fossil dig being added for the remainder of the week! Everyone who helped take part in this was entered into a custom role giveaway.

Alongside this, Rebels could tick off individual tasks from a Bingo card in the hopes of achieving all nine and earning the exclusive ‘Certified Palaeontologist‘ Discord role. One of the bingo tasks involved a challenging but fun Dinosaur Egg Hunt – six eggs were hidden across the RPF website and Discord throughout the week, with Rebels tasked with finding them! It certainly kept many of us busy!

Elsewhere, the Rebels’ creativity was challenged with a Make Your Own Dinosaur Contest hosted by the RNM Contest Team. An online dinosaur generator allowed participants to create their personalised prehistoric creature, complete with name and backstory! Voting is currently ongoing and the winner is set to be announced in the coming days

A week full of creatively-themed events concluded with a practice battle against the Water Vikings – themed ‘Dinosaur vs. Caveman’ between the two allied armies. An exciting match-off resulted in a Rebel victory, bringing the week’s festivities to a joyous conclusion.

Beansysaurus Rex Roars to Glory!

Bakedbean_s, currently known as the formidable Beansysaurus Rex for this week’s Prehistoric Party, joined the army in mid-October and has already climbed to the rank of Specialist. A shining star in every sense, she’s made her presence felt in all the best ways. Whether turning up enthusiastically for events, chatting warmly with fellow members, or sparking lively conversations – she’s been the life of the party and the heartbeat of the main chat. Truly a model Rebel, she’s earned the well-deserved title of Troop of the Week #312

How did the Rebels do in this week’s mini-game tournaments?

The prehistoric fun didn’t end there – a Pizzatron 3000 competition was also declared for the cave-guins! With 15 chefs in the kitchen, they made a grand total of 1368 pizzas!

That wasn’t the only tournament, though. With surfboards in hand, Rebels gathered for an intense Catching Waves competition. There were 11 surfers participating and submitting their epic scores. In total, they achieved 9141 points!

We hung ten on Sunday with a pizza-flavored surfing competition on CPJBlizzard! In Operation: Surf Crazy, we dressed as pizza slices, caught some waves and then sliced through those too! There were curls in the water as well as the crust of our outfits, but we smiled big with extra cheese during the whole event. Check out who became the big cheese of the competition with the link below!

We kicked off our primitive Prehistoric Party week with a very cool, very casual Operation: Comfio-saurus, meeting at the Forest on CPABTuxedo. We bundled up in our cosy Dino hoodies, with some Rebels even waddling around in snuggly slippers! We weren’t caught sleeping, though! We executed beastly tactics and formations; an egg-cellent achievement! To see the full report, click the link below.

For this special Operation: Prehistoric Pizza event, we chiselled ourselves some fine stone chef hats, dusted off our caveguin aprons, and logged onto CPABTuxedo to re-invent the pizza wheel in this Pizzatron 3000 competition. Rebels were simply ravenous to suggest dough-tally rawr-some tactics, and everyone absolutely cooked! We logged onto CPABWarzone with our dinosaur costumes as we had a practice battle against the Water Vikings, who were the cavemen! His eyes flicked around the hall, catching for a moment on my face. I could not help myself. I smiled.
