Beginning a New Chapter
RPF is officially 18 years old, and what a thrilling birthday bash it was! Our 2025 Anniversary Week was bright and busy with timeless events, a Bingo task card that Aged Like Fine Wine, epic giveaways, and an elegant Gala that brought a vibrant end to a historical party. Check out the superlatives slideshow to see which Rebels won a superlative, such as who’s most likely to go viral or get an RPF tattoo!
Learn more about our jam-packed Anniversary Week in the Behind the Numbers section below, and see the Division Recap for what birthday-themed events ensued!
Shoutout to Rebel Commander Gabgeirl for the cake design!
Closing of Centurion
After 100 brilliant days of 100 events, we say farewell to Operation: Centurion, and move forward into a new year of RPF! Since its release, Rebels hyped up 4 incredible server parties, saw 4 Prize Booth rotations, battled in (and won!) 2 tournaments, reached 17k Discord members, and so much more. Take a look at the Behind the Numbers below for a deeper dive into the celebration, and see how many participants became a Sensational Centurion for attending 30+ events!
Cheers to Steax and Master DS!
Amidst the end of Anniversary Week excitement, it was announced that Steax has been promoted to Second in Command! Steax began their journey back in 2019, and in just a year, earned the high status of HCOM. Throughout the years, and despite a long retirement in the middle, Steax has cemented themself as a positive pillar in RPF, and is known to be at the forefront of lifting Rebel spirits. Congratulations on this excellent achievement, Steax!
We also celebrate our Third in Command, Master DS, for her monumental induction into the Hall of Fame as an RPF Rebel! Enlisting in 2019, Master DS’ spectacular success as a graphic designer, in both RPF and CPArmies, has brought our community to new creative heights. Her welcoming spirit, formidable leadership, and commitment has never faltered, and inspires us all to grow! Amazing work, Master DS!
Crossing the Finish Line!
As swiftly as it began, the 2025 Spring Recruitathon Cross Country portion has concluded! After its riveting launch, we saw an uprise in committed newcomers, and it’s all thanks to those who participated in the race! Let’s give a round of applause to our top contenders, Haleth, AngieJemima, Elsa, and Artistic23, for their impressive success!
The Recruitathon may have ended, but that doesn’t mean our journey to expand RPF has! To keep up momentum, continue recruiting to earn May’s Cattail role as part of our Spring Seasonals!
Luna Shoots for the Stars!
For her passion and stellar attendance, it comes as no surprise that our latest Major, Luna Star, is declared as Troop of the Week #337 – which is notably the first TOTW in RPF’s 18th year! Luna has been a top participant since joining in late March, earning multiple server party roles, is a MMX Champion, and now a Sensational Centurion! Always lending a helping hand, and spreading kindness and laughter, we are incredibly lucky to have Luna Star in our community!
Triple Penguin Updates
Club Penguin Legacy is preparing to rock out the stage, because the Music Jam arrives later this month! Before you purchase your tickets, amp up your festival fashion with the release of May’s Penguin Style catalog. You can even host your own band practice at your igloo with the updated Better Igloos and Furniture!
On Club Penguin Journey, however, they’ve propelled back to ye olde times for the upcoming Medieval Party on May 26th. Dress up as a royal princess, a brave knight, or a fire-breathing dragon with their latest Penguin Style catalog!

The Force is what gives a Jedi their power, it’s an energy field created by all living things. For Operation: May The Fourth Be With You, we logged onto CPAB – Tuxedo and channeled that very force in the form of the rebel spirit. Wearing the outfits of our favorite Star Wars characters, we got into cosmic formations whilst doing our galactic tactics. It’d be safe to say we had a blast at the event! For more starry details, check out the full post below!

The bloomer Rebels (Get it, boomer, bloomer?) decided to grow a spectacular garden in Operation: Rake It Till You Make It. We logged onto CPJ – Sleet with our rakes, straw hats, and overalls and turnip-ed up to do some up-beet tactics and formations! We were able to grow a fabulous garden that made other penguins say “Oh my gourd, this is amazing!” To read more about this event, click the post below!

The Rebel Facebook parents learned how to successfully participate in an event for the first time in Operation: Keyboard Warriors. We logged onto CPAB – Tuxedo with our Facebook mom/dad outfits and were slightly confused on how to do tactics and formations, but we did great once we got the hang of it. “Maybe we should participate in more of these event thingies…” all the Facebook parents said together. To read more about this event, click the post below!

Who is up playing Capture the Flag with our wonderful allies, ACP? We are! In Operation: Capturing Clovers, we first had a practice battle with the Army of Club Penguin. Logging onto CPAB – Tuxedo in our signature RPF uniforms, we did some rebellious tactics and formations. Afterwards, we logged onto CPJ for the Capture the Flag game! Operation: Centurion has finally come to an end. Although we didn’t hit our goal of 100 penguins online for our 100th event, we had an amazing time during Operation: Over A Decade In The Making celebrating 18 years of fighting the good fight! We logged onto Tuxedo – CPAB dressed in decades-inspired outfits – from flapper penguins to cave-penguins, from groovy to noughties, each penguin brought their own decade with them. Thank you to everyone who attended our 18th Anniversary Gala and thank you to those who supported us throughout these 100 days, and even 18 years!
