Vet Spotlight: Brad

Have you ever seen someone with a purple name and wondered who they are? Every RPF Veteran has a story, this is the thirteenth edition of the Vet Spotlight column where we take you back in time to tell the story of our esteemed Veterans! Today we’re telling you the story of our Veteran, Brad.

Brad’s journey into RPF begins on September 12, 2019When asking how he joined he described a very funny story;
Back in Club Penguin Rewritten he was in the Pizza Parlor forming a “Box Cult” when he received a Postcard from a stranger.
Curiously, Brad went out into the Plaza to look for the penguin, but to no avail. He did however, run into Lieutenant General Moon and she recruited him using the classic “Google Rebel Cart Surfer” from there, he excitedly joined the RPF!

Troop/Visitor

During his time in RPF he spent most of it in 2020 as a Visitor (by choice) even begging HCOM to have the role! Though, he had reached to the rank of Private a few times. He just couldn’t part from his beloved gray role!
ย  However, Brad did have a Rank Goal in mind; Second-in-Command. Though, he never got to meet this goal, he did rank up to the coolest rank of Head General!
During his time as a Troop, he had alot of fun experiences from being able to rank up with his friends, learn how to recruit, and becoming Troop of the Week #145 on May 30th,2020 at the rank of Colonel.

Officer Cadet

On June 1st, 2020 Brad ranked up to Officer Cadet. He described this time as a very fun one, but was a bit overwhelming at first with given responsibility, however once he got settled in he learned alot, during this time his mentor was Shark.

Officer

ย I asked Brad what made him become a Mod; he replied that he loved setting goals and completing them, but he truly wanted to see RPF thrive, introduce more people to it, and watch it grow.
So on June 15th, 2020 he achieved the rank of Officer.
Brad explained that during this time it was very fun and wild due to the pandemic, but he really enjoyed it and it was something he could throw himself into! Especially, having his own mentees to teach that was personally his favorite thing about the experience. He was also able to continue on with Shark has his mentor.

Final Thoughts:

What advice he could give to a newer Troops?
Don’t burn yourself out pushing through the ranks to get Officer, just have fun with the entire experienceBrad

Fun Questions:

1. Besides RPF what do you like to do for fun?
