Hey what’s up gang, pals, friends, penguins, and more. I could probably get a thesaurus or something but that would take too long. Wait, let me start over. 

Dear RPF,

All right, so here’s the deal: I’m not good at things like these. This is meant to be a simple post full of memories so let’s call it that instead. I don’t like talking about myself too much, and then I get too many memories and then I just start rambling to the point where things just don’t make sense so I’ll stop that now because now I’m ramblings.

If you haven’t realized it by now, yes, this is a retirement post. Or well a letter. I like that better. Letters are more fun! Don’t be sad though. If you get sad over this then FIGHT ME! 

Let’s see here…. uh… how to start this… beginnings right. So I joined RPF on December 22, 2018 after seeing some penguins talking about it in the mines. I was just hanging out with some friends. I was like “Hey, I remember seeing those guys in OG CP! Discord is pretty cool, sure I’ll go check it out.” Around this time I was bored and looking for something to do while doing that fun job search routine.

And so I came to RPF, a little quiet in chat, attending events, and just being another face on a discord, quietly climbing ranks. I didn’t really start talking until three months in when we made the move to the new discord. I popped off in March 2019. I was close to mod, started talking more. But still not enough.

After a trip to Disneyland with some of my best friends, I started finding my place and talking more in RPF. Some sad stuff happened there too. I lost a close friend and wasn’t sure if making connections with people like this was still worth it, but REDWEEB and many others proved me wrong. Y’all made me laugh harder than I had in a few weeks, and brought my smile back.

Oh yeah, I also became TOTW #83 in March. That was rad and something I never thought I’d get. Shout out to Pookie & Fuli for RUINING my TOTW with their campaigns. FIGHT ME!

And more March stuff. I became a Mod right at the end, when Cosmo was couped for the April Fool’s Prank. I think I had a pretty rad time as a mod, making closer friends, rising through the ranks with my mod squad, making all sorts of memories. We had fun there, right Mod Squad?? 😀 My favorite mod memory has to be when I led Navy for a branch battle as a General [Now called Head General] when the Navy HCOM weren’t available then. I led Navy to an almost victory while rushing off to work at the pool.

Then I got HCOM beginning of June! Head General aka 3ic. Goodbye Webby pfp. And then I would stay there for the next couple months, learning the ropes of HCOM full of ups and downs, learning how to balance work, life, and other responsibilities. Oh and then there was that time I had to lead Air Force for awhile. And now I’m caught between two branches. That was a fun time. Navy is still pretty rad as heck though! 

And then during Winter Olympics I got promoted to Second in Command. That was my favorite promo because Red and I were switched (Our favorite RPF hobby) and Ulti pinged Red instead of me. Best thing ever. And now here I am!

Oh yea I got Rebel too and that’s pretty rad. I seriously thought I never end up there because I’m not that cool and didn’t really do anything that cool. Wait… how’d I get this far in the first place. Y’know what just ignore this paragraph and FIGHT ME!

It’s been about a year and a handful of months in RPF. And while this was a tough choice to make, I realized, hey, I can’t be doing RPF stuff forever. I’m ready to branch out, focus on my other hobbies and careers. I’ve got a few books to write, some classes to take, and other big plans. Big plans for my future. Maybe you’ll read one of my books someday, and you will have no idea! AHAHAHAHA!

But this isn’t goodbye. I hate goodbyes. It’s why I’ll tell people “See you later!” because I will see you later. I’ll be sticking around in RF, playing some Minecraft, hanging out in the community because it’s still a rad community! So don’t you dare be sad about this. I WILL FIGHT YOU!  

So that’s about it! Thank you RPF for all the great memories you’ve given me and the friendships as well! So I guess now it’s time for that long list of names. Whoop whoop. LETS DO THIS!
