Battle Review: Legends Cup XVI

Hey Rebels, your favourite rundown of tournaments has returned again when you needed it most!

The 15th edition of Legends Cup has just drawn to a close, with many dramatic battles between each army up until the grand finals on the 3rd of August. We hope you enjoy this recap of our journey throughout the tournament, whether you are catching up on battles you missed or just reliving it. Without further ado, let us retell the events of these modern battles between legends.

Round 1: Pizzaioli’s of Club Penguin

Legends Cup is here and the Rebels were hungry for a win! However, the Rebels stayed hungry, as their pizza was never delivered. RPF went against the Pizzaiolis in the Quarter Finals, maxing 79. Unfortunately, not enough members of the other team appeared to battle, so RPF automatically advanced onto the Semi finals! We did not let this hold us back or get to our heads, we continued to battle it out and use this opportunity as a great training session to gear us up for the upcoming battle against our allies; The Water Vikings!

Round 2: Water Vikings

The Rebels made it to the Semi Finals, and for this battle, we were up against our allies: the Water Vikings. RPF maxed 95 and WV maxed 75, making it a tough and thrilling fight! We battled in Casa Fiesta, Snow Forts, and the Iceberg, with RPF winning the first room and tying with WV for the second and third. Because of this, RPF successfully won the Semi Finals battle for LCXVI! Out next battle was sure to be tougher- the Finals against ACP.

Round 3: Army of Club Penguin

In the final battle of Legends Cup, RPF faced our allies Army Of Club Penguin. With RPF maxing 123 and ACP maxing 142, it was a “give it all you got” battle. We fought at the Dock, Iceberg, and the Mine. The battle got so intense, that in the first time in years, RPF and ACP did double over time. First OT room being the Snow forts and second room at the Forest. In the end, ACP claimed their victory by winning the first room, second OT room and being in a tie with RPF in room 3 and OT room 1. The Rebels gave it all they had and were deemed as the runner-ups for LCXVI.
