MWAHAHAHAHA! Thought you could get rid of us that easily? Halloween has crash landed in CPL as well, and has brought with it a whole new series of ghoulish adventures and scares. But do not worry folks since the Club Penguin News Team has got you covered with all the latest secrets and frightful festivities! Time to check the island out!
STAMPS
First, the arrival of the Halloween party has also brought back a few stamps to add to your stamp books. Now is your chance to grow your collection.
Explorer – Visit all the decorated party rooms.
Happy Room – Make 10 penguins smile in a room.
Monster Mash – Wear a monster outfit at the Halloween Party.
Path Finder – Complete a maze at the party.
Party Puzzle – Solve a puzzle at a party.
Music Maestro – Solve a musical puzzle at a party.
Trick-or-Treat – See 10 Trick-or-Treat igloos as the Halloween Party.
Scavenger Hunt – Complete a Scavenger Hunt.
QUESTS
It wouldn’t be a CPL party without quests of course! The game introduced 16 new quests to complete for an awesome reward at the end. The guide below will show you step by step how to complete them.
1. Grab candy at the Coffee Shop: Go to the Coffee Shop and hover over the bowl of candy to reveal the Boo sign, Simply click on it to complete the quest!
2. Go swim in the slime pool: Go to the underground pool and step into the slime pool to complete the quest.
3. Find the hidden pin: Check out our Pin Tracker to find the current pin on the island to complete this quest!
4. Get item at haunted house: Go to the Haunted House (accessible through the Forest), and click on the box on the top left corner to get the Purple Bat Wings in order to complete the quest.
5. Costume show with 10 penguins: Go to the Ski Village and show off your spooky costumes with 10 other penguins on the Costume Show stage.
6. Interact with all haunted house: Go to the Haunted House and hover/click your mouse on all the various items in the room to complete it.
7. Solve dark swamp puzzle: Go to the Dark Chamber entrance through Forest…
… and solve the musical puzzle to open the doors to the Chambers! Here is how you solve the puzzle: you must press the keys in the correct color order on the organ in three separate orders.
1st: pink, blue, orange, pink
2nd: pink, orange, blue, pink, green
3rd: green, pink, orange, blue, pink, pink
Completing this quest will earn you the Music Maestro stamp!
8. Go to Gary’s secret lab next to the Haunted House entrance…
… and pull on the lever to activate the Monster Maker 3000!
9. Watch all NOTLS Films: Go to the Coffee Shop, Arcade, and Lighthouse to watch all three Night of the Living Sled films until the end to complete this quest.
10. Carve pumpkin at Berg: Go to the Iceberg and drill on the pumpkin with a hard hat to carve out the eyes, the nose, and the mouth to complete the quest.
11. Complete the Dark Chambers: Once you completed Quest 7, enter the Dark Chambers to explore it. Be sure to grab the Storm Lantern at the beginning, then exit and comeback inside to be able to explore through the dark! You will not need to redo the organ puzzle to reenter. Completing this quest will earn you the Path Finder stamp!
12. Haunted disco with 40 penguins: Dance with 40 penguin at the Dance Club to complete this quest!
13. Click the ghost interface button at the top right of your screen!
14. Meet Gary: Be in the same room as Gary when he visits the island!
15. Meet Rookie: Be in the same room as Rookie when he visits the island!
TRICK-OR-TREAT
Along these quests and festivities, there is also the classic Trick-or-Treating! You can earn candies from Trick-or-Treating at Snow Forts. A tutorial will appear when you first enter Forts, but here is the gist of it: you must collect candies from the houses when the timer runs out by sitting next to them and clicking on their doors. Each color will give you a different type of candy: gray is common candies, green is rare candies, and purple is epic candies. You must be quick in order to collect as many as possible!
Once the tutorial ends, you will be prompted to buy a Trick-or-Treat Bag for 50 coins!
You can check the amount of each type of candy you have by clicking on the blue-green candy icon on the top right corner of your screen.
CATALOGUES
Once you have collected enough candy from Trick-or-Treating, you can buy cool new items by clicking on the tombstone icon on the top right corner of the screen.
Beware! You will loose all your candies when you log out, so be sure to use them wisely!
There are also cool new items that you can access in the Monster room once you completed the Dark Chambers quest, such as a free Pile O’ Candy furniture item…
… and the Monster Maker catalogue by clicking on the bottom right corner of your screen!
FREE ITEM
As always, when you finish the quests, you’ll see a “Collect Reward” button. Click it and you’ll receive the Ghost Vial.
