So Long, Summer Olympics!
Using the last of our Nook Miles, Rebels boarded the plane to leave the world of Animal Crossing and bid farewell to the 2026 Summer Olympics! The week was full of spirited competition as Teams Kofu, Ongaku, Okane, and Yuushi battled to earn the most medals. With a total of 527 points, congratulations to Team Okane for taking home the win!
No Olympics is complete without giving a shoutout to some of the Rebels who went above and beyond supporting their team. For their incredible sportsmanship and participation, bravo to Emi, Monistar, Euan, and Koco for being honored as this summer’s Team MVPs!
Missed any of the Olympic action? You’re in luck! The results post has a recap of the week and how each team performed, while our By the Numbers section is packed with fun facts from the games. Hope to see you at the Winter Olympics!
Fresh Fall Seasonals
Autumn has arrived here in the RPF! Pumpkins, ghosts, and ghouls aren’t the only thing returning this season, though. As the leaves begin to change, so do our seasonal roles! Check out the new Fall Seasonals and see the latest spooky roles available for you to work toward; all you have to do is help new friends join our community! You have until the end of November, so let’s get out there and start recruiting!
New Role, New Riddles
Over the summer, puzzle sleuths had the chance to become Blossoming Bookworms by participating in the Tuxedo Times’ weekly challenges. Now that the season has changed, our creative Puzzle Master, Miggy, has a new role that celebrates the coming of fall – Scholarly Scarecrow!
To obtain this straw-some role, all you have to do is complete at least 6 puzzles by the end of November, and be sure to submit each one during the week it’s released for it to count. Scroll down to this week’s By the Numbers for a look back at our summer brain teasers, then check out the first puzzle for autumn under Challenge of the Week!
Nelly’s Breaking News!
Nelly sits atop the throne this week as we celebrate her earning the Troop of the Week #405 award! She’s been nothing short of positive and friendly since joining us in June, and has already ranked up to Lieutenant. Her superb attendance during the Summer Olympics also earned her the Rebel Olympian role! Now on the Penguin Regiment team, Nelly has shown impressive eagerness to get involved in RPF, and we’re excited to see all she does!

“As the Olympics came to an end, team leaders got to to choose their MVP of the week, a troop who captured the spirit of sportsmanship! This week, I interviewed Team Yuushi’s MVP, Sergeant Emi.”

Emi’s MVP trophy
“I first asked Emi how she felt when she was revealed as Yuushi’s MVP. She told me she was very excited as she had only been in RPF for about a month, so this was her first Olympics. Emi was also thankful and recognised all the efforts of her team!
Next, I asked what her favourite moment from the Olympics was, to which she told me it was making inside jokes with her team, and being able to bring hype to the team when it was most needed! Emi has really captured the spirit of the Olympics – community, fun, and hype!
Thank you so much Emi for the interview, and congratulations on the Team MVP award!”
Thank you for the report, Patty!
