Patty is bringing some sunblock and sunglasses with her for this week’s Community Spotlight meet-up! Dive into her splashing interview below.

Surf’s up! Last week, HCOM hosted a Catchin’ Waves tournament, where Rebels fought against the current to become the RPF’s Wave Walker. Our Colonel LonkTheBonk was the one to beat, outsurfing the competition into the sunset!”

Lonk’s gnarly penguin ready to shred some waves!

I first asked Lonk about how long she practiced for (or whether she just got lucky), to which she told me she didn’t prepare whatsoever for the tournament, and decided to join when the event started. Given that this tournament was played on Survival mode, that’s really impressive!

Next, I asked if she could host any CPJ game tournament, what game would she choose? Lonk replied saying that as RPF’s “resident Wave Walker and Catchin’ Waves gold medalist“, it would of course be that. However, she would also do a Card-Jitsu tournament as she enjoys the game a lot.

Finally, inspired by the theme of this minigame, I asked Lonk whether she’d ever learn to surf in real life if given the opportunity. She told me that she definitely would and that it sounds so fun! Gnarly, bro.

Thank you LonkTheBonk for taking the time out of your wave walking to do this interview!”

Thank you for the report, Patty!
