MEME COLUMN #3 – MARCH 2021

Welcome to the Rebel Broadcast Team’s third issue of the Meme Column. Each month we will highlight the funniest moments and trends from the past month in the Rebel Penguin Federation. Let’s dive on into it!

New HCOM Names

First we saw our HCOM become characters from the movie Despicable Me. Even #main-chat and Rebel Bot got in on the action! Might as well call it, Rebel Minion Federation. Then we saw all of our Third in Commands take the popular silly goose TikTok video and apply it into their names! How silly of them

Popular Picrews

This month we saw two popular Picrew trends. One with a cute cartoon look and another with a standing full outfit look. Very stylish!

Yo Mama Joke-off

One of our fellow troops, Tuz, stated that they would gift nitro to whoever had the best yo mama joke. Immediately main chat started zooming with hilarious jokes and in the end, nitro was in fact awarded!

March Madness Mischief

Although RPF was taken out of the March Madness tournament, we made the best out of the situation using humor. Some super funny copy & paste messages were created from F6’s post. Then our HCOM took a twist on the “call to arms” phrase and named themselves after call to different body parts. And of course we can’t forget about our beloved cousins cap emote.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for.. yogurt? One of our troops, EPIC VR, posted a funny clip that resulted in a long yogurt chain in #memes!

Rebel Cash Rush

This meme made by RedNosedLugia really demonstrates the adrenaline rush that rebels feel when that #events ping goes out for the Rebel Cash!

Lime’s Lyrics

One of our fellow veterans, Lime, took the popular fortnite song that has been trending on TikTok recently and put a little RPF twist on it. I would in fact call myself a pro penguin gamer!!
