Hey rebels! Welcome to a brand new edition of Throwback Thursday, the most recent addition to Rebel Rewind, RBT’s History Column! June 20th, 2019

Ultipenguinj is appointed RPF Second in Command and Strike Force Director, along with Rebel Commander Queenieliz. Until then, RPF had mainly been a group that held costume events, without any notable interactions with other armies. Leadership wanted RPF to get involved in the army community, but the tremendous size advantage the rebels had made any confrontation unfair.
Strike Force fixed that issue by only letting in rebels from Specialist and above. Due to this, the size difference was less noticeable.
The Strike Force would then go on to compete in various tourneys and battles, one of the most memorable being the reclamation of Tuxedo, RPF’s historical capital.
On March 2020, Strike Force was discontinued as other armies had began to grow in size and were now able to stand up to RPF as a whole.
Although Strike Force is no longer needed in RPF nowadays, it definitely brought the community together and led to some hilarious moments and memes, which are still relevant today.
