Who that, who that? I–G-G-Y! There are some igloos we could not pass by! Let’s check out the 3rd edition of RPF Iggys, a column in which our team (Thomas, Rissa, Silver, Lemur, and Raven) scout out RPF community members’ igloos and tours them with their builders.
In this edition, we caught all of the summer vibes as we sat down with PeachyKenn, BobaKat, and PeytonPls to show off their stunning designs! Every igloo has a story and we‘re here to talk about it! From the small pieces that come together, to the personal touch created by the builder, each part plays an important role in making up the igloo as a whole! To check out the heat these RPF members brought, continue reading below…
First we visited with Colonel PeachyKenn!

What’s up Rebels and welcome to my crib! I was going for a frutiger aero vibe similar to the Blue Team hangout from last year’s Fair Party with my igloo. That room is still one of my favorite party rooms ever. I absolutely love being able to turn off igloo boundaries, so I can really get creative and even make my own igloo backgrounds! I used a lot of grass patches and puffle tubes to fill out the sand from the beach.
There were so many cool aspects about PeachyKenn’s igloo, but the part we loved the most was the seating area! It is complete with some comfy chairs, a pet fish, and a tv to cozy up to and watch all the best 2000’s shows on! What a great addition to make this igloo feel like home!
Thank you for taking us on an incredi-blue tour of your igloo, PeachyKenn!
Next, we waddled on over to visit Colonel BobaKat!
Hi Rebels! Welcome to Boba Beach! My igloo is part beachy oasis and a fun chill spot to hangout, and a great place to host a party! There’s plenty different hangout areas within my igloo with a little bit of something for everyone. I made sure to have a DJ/Karaoke area to play some cool tunes and dance too. You can also check out the Juice Bar where you can get just about every fruity drink you can imagine! Outside, I’ve made the actual beach part of the igloo. You can sun lounge or take a dip in the water with the jungle behind you. You may have noticed a Birthday Cake in the middle of the patio set outside. I actually made this igloo back in February to host my Birthday Party at the time! It was a fun time to hangout with my fellow Rebels! When I was designing this igloo, I was imagining a busy beach club, but make it colorful and somewhat maximalist. I wanted the chill seating areas to still feel cozy, some tucked away, and some still apart of the action. If i had to pick, I’d say my favorite area is the swimming hole. I loved the idea of having a tropical jungle behind you while you swim, and I love the little dragon floatie. And for all the KingKrab lovers, I recently added the addition of a Crab in the corner of my igloo!
We really loved the musical notes at the top of the igloo! Boba believes that wall item was called Musical Motif in the CPJ furniture catalog! With having the DJ/Karaoke area near by, she wanted to play into the musical theme of that area but also needed something to help fill the walls. Boba thinks it worked out perfectly that they were neon lights, music themed AND perfectly matched the flooring of the igloo too.
Thank you Bobakat for taking us to your beach party extravaganza!
Third, we made our way over to see Sergeant Peytonpls!
Hi! I’m Peyton and this is my Electric Forest igloo! I love going to music festivals and raves in real life and have always loved the aesthetic of Electric Forest, so I decided to do an EF inspired igloo to host events at. The layering for this igloo was honestly kind of a nightmare lol. If anyone has used multiple lasers in an igloo, you know how SENSITIVE and annoying they can be. Other than that it wasn’t too hard to make and I had a lot of fun making it!
We were super curious about Electric Forest and had to ask if there were any easter eggs from the festival hidden in the igloo. Peyton said, it’s not really an easter egg, but there is a specific stage from the festival they based it off of. Peyton thinks its called The Honeycomb, its a really cool 360 stage the festival has 🙂 If Peyton had five bands to play at their igloo festival they would pick Inzo, Khurangbin, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Rezz and Griz! They would be great here. Psychedelic rock and deep wubz are perfect for this setting!
Thank you Peytonpls for sharing your electrifying igloo with us!
We hope you had a blast with this edition of RPF Iggys! Thank you again to PeachyKenn, BobaKat, and PeytonPls for taking the time to share their incredible summer igloos, and thank YOU for reading! Keep fighting the good fight and stay cool, Rebels!
